Just so Italian Deli Market Harborough — Restaurant in Harborough

Have always loved eating here, but for the 2nd time we have been treated badly by the staff, including the owner. We came in and it was reasonably busy, however, we were offered a table by an elderly lady, only to be told, loudly by a member of staff that we couldn’t take the table and were basically evicted. No where else in Harborough has this policy of not being allowed to take a table until you have ordered your food. Spoke to the owners wife previously who told us that this shouldn’t be done and apologised profusely, only for it to happen again. The last time we will ever visit to be treated by a member of staff rolling her eyes and embarrassing customers. I had been to this place many times before for take out, eat in or just buy coffee grounds. Recently since I become a mom I do purchase a bigger quantity of coffee grounds at once as it is hard to leave home with a new born. First time when I bough a bigger quantity of coffee grounds the service was lovely and the grounds were just perfect. This last time however, the attitude of the lady who served me was off when she heard the quantity of the coffee grounds I needed(500gr). I wouldn't have said anything but I have ended up with 500gr of extra fine grounds which I can't use in my expresso machine. Great food - they do a selection of filled hot focaccia sandwiches which you can change up to suit your taste. Also, some great salami and other meats plus some interesting salad options, loved the marinaded artichoke hearts. The cannoli/arogostini and other désert options are small and perfect to follow a tasty lunch. Good coffee, of course and friendly staff.
