On 23rd April 2015 during the late afternoon we had felt hungry and decided to eat at the Pizza Express in Market Harborough we had never eaten here before and it looked inviting, Sadly the pizza's that came had to be the worse pizza's we have ever had!! It was swimming in grease and so thin it was more like a poppadom than a pizza base, it had grease and cheese and a few mushrooms and very little else, it was also cold in the middle. We had also been approached several times while waiting for the pizza, during the meal, while I was coming out of the restroom and after the meal by a male waiter who was continuously asking if we wanted to order more food, coffee, dessert etc it was very intrusive, Only after being asked politely to lets us to let us just eat and then decide he left us alone to which we couldn't finish the food and had to go and eat elsewhere. We did complain about the food and service but we we're still charged the full price and no real apology or explanation given for the awful standard of service. I would NOT recommend going to eat at Pizza Express to anyone....Nice interior but...

Visited at around 17:30 on a Thursday with my 7 year old daughter. On entering there were only a few tables of people in the main room but we were taken into another room and seated on our own which meant a distinct lack of atmosphere - I really don't like sitting to eat in an empty restaurant. I tried to catch a member of staffs eye to see if we could move and she dismissed me and nodded towards another male waiter . He approached and I asked if there were any tables available in the other side of the restaurant and he just replied "why?". I asked again if it would be possible to move as we didn't want to sit in the empty side and he tutted and huffed before saying he would go and see. He came back and mumbles something about 2 tables, took us half way there and then just walked off and left us standing in the middle of the restaurant. At this point a manager came and seated us and apologised but we were left feeling very unwanted and my daughter was quite upset so we left. Very disappointing service and not somewhere I...
