Han Chinese Cuisine — Restaurant in Harborough

Nice and friendly staff welcoming to us and seated us when we arrived, gave us plenty time to look at the menu. We ordered the Han banquet. Drinks were served while waiting for our meal which arrived very quickly. Staff were attentive but not obtrusive. The meal was lovely well prepared and very tasty could not fault it. Each course was delivered promptly on finishing the previous one. We were offered more drinks as soon as glasses were empty so no waiting. After our meal we were left to enjoy finishing drinks and of presented with the bill until we asked. 4 people ate early evening. The table was attractively laid. We ordered drinks first. Felt that £4+ for a lemonade and orange squash was a tad high and the same for Coke. A bottle of wine (one of the cheapest on the list) was £19. Starters - 3 ordered the same and 1 ordered something different. The single starter arrived 10 minutes before the other 3. Mains were average and not very hot. Considering there were eventually only 4 tables occupied during our visit, we were not totally impressed with the quality of the food. Myself and my best friend had the most beautiful meal at Han last night in Market Harborough. The food was absolutely outstanding. We had the banquet for two and it really was wonderful and so incredibly tasty. The service was really excellent as well and all of the staff are so very kind and caring. This really is a top class Chinese restaurant to visit. I have eaten in many Chinese restaurants in London and Han in Market Harborough is by far the best!! We will definitely be visiting again.
