Muffin Break Hastings — Restaurant in Hastings

I once enjoyed going to this establishment, unfortunately, my last visiting was one I didn’t enjoy nor will me or my mother will ever return again. Our Service was less then friendly. My server throw the fork onto the tray as I was standing there in front of them. And I do not appreciate how they have removed the allergen tags, that were on display in food the food and now changed it to a QR code app to find out the allergens of the food. The Wi-Fi service there is unbearable at the least, and it was far more easier for my disabled mother to just read what was in front of her, then struggle to use this Unnecessary way. To any who's wanting to go here be warned , since the new owners have taken over this place has been completely unfair to there employees , they have pushed out all the original staff by dropping there hours to 0 since everyone is on a 0 hour contract , the panini's have been stail as they will always try to give you the closest one to being out of date instead of fresh including the cakes which they do the same - Mostly taking on younger people because they do have to pay them as much, this place it's it's total scam and have lost most there regulars...

Very friendly staff. Food was fresh & delicious! I had a smoked salmon & cream cheese bagel with crisps & one of their fantastic caramel milkshakes with cream on top! Loved it! I also had an apple & cinnamon muffin to take out. It was delicious! I had it later in the evening with a nice cuppa! The café was clean, but they were a bit slow to clear the tables when people left & no one offered to clear, or clean my table before I sat down! Service was prompt & polite.
