Pizzarelli — Restaurant in Hastings

Ordered a pizza via the Pizzarelli app. Order went through at 18.50 and received delivery at 19.35. Not too bad for a Friday evening, however, don’t know how long the driver had been on the road but Pizza barely warm, the supposedly thin crust base was rubbery and chewy and soggy in the middle. I went for create your own and could only distinguish 3 toppings out of the 9 or 10 paid for! The prosciutto was like chewy rinds of bacon, the chorizo was on one slice, the mushroom was barely there, but plenty of chicken which was nice! The BBQ sauce was overpowering and overall we regretted ordering. We have ordered a delivery before and on both occasions was very impressed, so not sure what happened last night...

I had an amazing time here, the pizza choices are authentic and delicious, varying styles for different tastes and the pizza dough was the best part. The owners explained how they use a specific flour to make it, and they taste amazing. Not chewy, not thick, perfect crust and seasonings. Me and my partner also had lattes made freshly ground which were good beans.

The men who served us were friendly and the atmosphere was good as it was almost empty but the music and the lighting made it cosy. I love the decor.

Takeaway was heaving all night despite the restaurant being empty which thankfully made for a pleasant...

Ordered two pizzas - a 4 Cheese and a Regina pizza, along with garlic bread with cheese and chicken wings. The wings were delicious and you could feel the spicy heat coming through afterwards without that raging fire feeling on your lips. The garlic bread was soft, light and fluffy with subtle herbs, not overly cheesy but enough. My husband loved his cheese-rich pizza, the Gorgonzola made it perfect. It was a hard choice between the Regina and Fiorentina but Regina won for me tonight as I love a ham and artichoke combo on a pizza. Our 1st order but it won’t...
