It was different quite French style cuisine and it was South American food made by a British lady. My poached eggs were overcooked. The guacamole sauce was very watered down and not a creamy the sweet potatoes rosties or whatever they were called were not very tasty and slightly overcooked. Brazilian breakfast dish Iāve forgotten the name of was a big disappointment. Because of catering for Vegans and having the honey option it wasnāt very tasty because a lot of unfiltered tap water was added. All the berries might have been frozen as the only fresh fruit there was, sliced kiwiās I love bananas and it wasnāt added to the mixture or sliced. Itās a funky place but I think I would only back if for a slice of cake. The owner was friendly and open and so was the other lady who I forgot to ask her nationality she sounded s American. So I was surprised she didnāt cook. But thankfully the owner and chef. Hardly useās microwave as boiled water when cooled down if you feed your plants. Will slowly kill them. Funky decor and they had their one year opened celebration the day before. Good luck and possibly try to not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve wanted to try this place since it opened and this morning I finally managed to fit a visit in and I wasnāt disappointed. We were very early and the only people there hence the atmosphere score but the food was amazing. Had the full South American breakfast which is a variation of full English. The star of the plate were the beans. Absolutely delicious. Big piece of black pudding, chorizo sausage, mushrooms, spicy eggs and some interesting pancake/bread slices which were great. Lovely decor and well worth a visit if you fancy a different type of cooked breakfast. I want to go back and try other options...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt know where to start: the amazing atmosphere compiled by subtle music and great friendliness, or the outstanding coffee (really hard to find a great coffee in England that has full flavour and strength without the burnt/bitter taste), or the out-of-this-world breakfast that felt like fireworks of flavours going off in my mouth.
The only thing that upset me is the fact that I do not live close to this area to be able to enjoy this heavenly experience more often.
P.S. I did also purchase a bottle of the home-made habanero sauce...
