Rude and unwelcoming I had booked a table for 5 of us to celebrate my birthday. Upon arrival we were told by the manager in no uncertain terms that there was no table as the booking was for three and it was our mistake. As a concession we were offered a table outside next to a bonfire in the 30 degree heat; needless to say we declined and left. At no point did we receive an apology. My husband even popped back on his way to the takeaway to show the original booking - clearly stating 5 people - but the manager did not want to know. I have since contacted the bar twice but have been ignored on both occasions. Absolutely shocking customer service.

Update: having been contacted by the owner two of the original party returned to Ralphs. What a difference being greeted and served by someone else..... They enjoyed good food and an interesting choice of gin. They would return. Thank you for making the effort to put...

All seating area reserved at 5pm, very rudely told we couldn't sit down almost trying to embarrass us in front of the other customers. Even after over 1 hour when we left all tables were still empty. Perhaps try writing a reserved from time on them, it wasn't as if cutlery had to be laid or any real preparation to the tables are required. Would've been easy to say you can sit there until the customers arrive etc. I totally understand why people reserve seats but as a small bar and seating area it might be worth revising how you run that routine. Won't be going back...
