Red Chilli — Restaurant in Havant

People of Havant and surrounding areas, if you value your health do not have food from this restaurant. We had the worst take-away meal of our lives. From the "vegetable" nan bread to the so-called onion bhajees it was atrocious. The two main meals, although very different tasted exactly the same. By the time it reached us it was almost stone cold and the lids had distanced themselves from the containers. All in all a terrible dining experience, most of which ended up in the bin as did their menu. We will NOT be eating at this...

Great food and service! We had less than 1 hour (train to catch), the waiter Ronnie (I think) was very knowledgeable and suggested starters and mains that could be prepared on time. We saw they were busy with other orders but we were well cared for. Prawns and lamb was amazing! We went with his desert surprises which were packed in a thermo-bag since we had to leave. As far as I'm concerned, this is one of the best value for money Indian restaurants around. I have a takeaway at lunchtime occasionally, and only need a small order, so it's nice not to be ripped off for a change. Other places open at lunch time (and there's not many) charge double this. The food is nice for me, I've no hesitation in travelling out of my way to go here....
