Better than previously, when there were gaps unfilled with filling. Just a shame that the different flavours of fizzy drink has been stopped.
Added 15/10/22 Good grief. You go in and join the queue while the five members of staff (one appearing to be under training) run round sorting out the on line orders. The machine goes ping and they jump to it, ignoring the fact that those who bothered to come in are queueing to the door. I noticed a group of three and another of two who got fed up with waiting. Is this any way to treat those customers they are facing? My sub came out of the grill, sat on the counter for several minutes while the servers sorted the on line orders, then lay open, unwrapped, while the server sorted another one! Makes you feel really wanted, don't you think? Hope the on line orders give good marks since I'd imagine the rest of us are really fed up, no pun intended.
29/5/24 about 14:10 A Wednesday afternoon, three members of staff (one of whom is obviously a trainee and has to ask about everything) and a fortunately small queue. Obviously the online orders still take priority so it is a short while before I am asked what I want. The young lady taking my order is also watching over the trainee; she is interrupted several times and when my order goes to be toasted it is left for a couple of minutes in the closed cooker, burning it so that it is thrown away and restarted - but without any explanation to me - so that the queue is further held up and I am nearly matched up to an online order. It doesn't help that the third staff member should be on the till but seems to be doing something out the back, and is therefore clueless about how things are going or the number waiting to pay. Sorry, things are going...
Read moreMe and my friends walked into subway and two of us were buying, but one of us were buying for the others. We came in with no bother and queued up while the others sat down quietly on their phones waiting. One of the women on shift, Nicky her name was, loudly spoke over the counter to the friends sitting down and said “are you buying” so they explained we were buying for them she then said “you need to get out as you are not buying” my mates were confused as we had explained they were getting food, but not buying out of their own money. She then said “are you just gonna ignore me then” and then left. Me and my friend proceeded to buy our food and the others food and called them back inside to eat. She said “are you buying anything” and my other mate who brought said “we just brought them a cookie to eat because we wanted to sit in and have our dinner” this was because we ordered quite a bit. She then said “that’s not an excuse to sit in here and eat, you’re not staying here all bloody night”. Yes okay, I get were teenagers, but we were not loud or rude, I believe she does not understand this and shouldn’t have been like this with us. Food was good, but service was...
Read moreVery poor, even though it's good when you're in the actual restaurant, I ordered online with just eat and 2 sandwiches were never delivered, the tracker said it is still on it's way despite losing signal with the driver (also I live around 8 mins away so it's not like they got lost because of a long drive) and I have now been waiting 2 hours not sure if I'm going to get a refund but from now on in I'd advise nobody orders online because I have seen many complaints of people not receiving their order or there were parts of the order missing when it was delivered. Very disappointed.
Update! I rang the restaurant, told them my issue and they said that my order was sat on the side and nobody was collecting it, I have contacted just eat and I am hopefully going to receive a refund but it begs the question as to why the employees at the restaurant didn't contact me or at least contact the driver to collect the order but instead just left it there knowing someone was waiting for it and they used the ol' reliable "we can't do...
