Have been several times and never dissapointed. Food - always nice and delicious. As someone from SE Asia, i can say their food is top notch and the right amount of spice for my asian tastebuds. Do note however, if you cannot handle spice, do not go for the foods that have 3 chillies on the side. We go for the Fish Amritsari and that is light and delicate and delicious. We also had the Non Veg Platter which was absolutely great. Their curries are wonderful too and so are their biriyani. Service - sometimes slow, sometimes efficient. But food does come out at a timely manner and we are not left with huge gaps of time between courses. Sometimes the bill gets delayed but thaats alright. Atmosphere - theres live music on some nights which is nice but can get a tad loud. The seating is sometimes a little too close to each other which can make the space feel cramped but its not a problem with table space.

Nicely fitted out, but front entrance needs some work - to be fair the owners are aware of this and were discussing how to improve it. Service was very friendly and professional and first night discount was appreciated. The food was good rather than exceptional, but quite tasty nonetheless. The starters are nice but the accompaniments are very small with the starter "sauces" being an extremely small artistic squiggle rather than a serving (tamarind sauce, raita etc), likewise the chutneys served with the poppadoms are of insufficient size. Main courses have lots of tender meat and rice was fluffy and tasty. The restaurant is a great addition to New Mills and I am sure it will become very successful.

It was our first visit to Bukharaa. We were greeted by friendly and attentive staff and shown to a table. The food was presented very nicely and we were given warmed up plates which was a nice touch. Food was generously portioned and very delicious. The lamb in the railway lamb curry was tender and succulent. The Karahi had big pieces of chicken and peppers all cooked very nicely. The food tasted very fresh and not greasy and heavy. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout and added a personal touch to our lovely evening out. We will definitely return

Our first visit to Bukharaa in our home town of New Mills. We have visited the Romiley one previously. For various reasons we had to go early doors, we were quite pleasantly surprised to find a few tables already occupied. Poppadoms and relish tray to start, we ordered extra. I had the lamb chops and roti bread, which were absolutely delicious and definitely lamb not mutton. Husband had the Butter chicken curry...which was heaven on a plate. My niece had chicken Jalfreza, her husband chicken vindaloo We all agreed food was exceptional, can't wait to come again. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable about the food but also about the many photographs of India around the restaurant. I wish you every success, you deserve it for all the hard work...
