Delightz — Restaurant in High Peak

PLEASE AVOID!!! Appalling to say the least… chicken in the chicken burger was undercooked, pink and cold and the batter on it was soggy like it had been sat in their store all evening.. we ordered 9 doughnuts to which only 4 arrived on first delivery and were cold and greasy then we called up for the five missing doughnuts which had toppings of 2x crunchie, 1x Oreo, 1x Nutella and 1x bueno they came back 30 minutes later for there to be only 4 plain sugar doughnuts with no toppings what so ever, not what we had asked for and these were also cold and greasy, tried calling them 4/5 times and got no response baring in mind they were still open for a further 20 minutes before closing. I work in food industry but it’s baffled me how they have got everything so wrong after 2 attempts at trying to get it right. It wasn’t as if we ordered our food in busy hours...

After being a customer of delightz since it first opened from différent addresses I have moved from I can honestly say I am shocked at the service tonight. It’s been a long time since I’ve ordered due to living away and I spoke to a lady on the phone who firstly agreed to deliver the £4 order with a delivery charge of a £1 because I am round the corner. To then be passed to a rude man (assuming to be the owner) who said “SHE” isn’t aware and that he won’t be making the delivery unless it’s £10 or more as he has so many orders already. It’s good to know they are doing so well for business but as far as customer service goes it’s disgusting. He rudely hung up the phone and it’s a shame that a nice guy I remember starting a new small business that was quiet at first has clearly got too big for his boots to even be respectful...

I Went in the other day to a guy behind the counter playing a video game, he made my little girl a blueberry ice-cream cone at £1.30 not even looking what he was doing, his eyes were to glued to the tele. When my daughter came away carrying her ice-cream it dropped off the cornet onto the floor in the shop so I told him and he then charged me £1.30 for another even though he hadn't put it on the cone properly the first time. I wasn't going to leave a review then until today. I went in and yet again he was on his game. His attitude towards his customers is disgusting. To fixed to his game needs to grow up a bit and learn how to greet his customers spending money. Not the game he should be worried about losing its...
