UPDATE: spoke to the lovely owner today who apologised regarding rude staff on our previous visit. The food is really high quality and so good! The staff today were lovely and helpful.

(we have since tried to visit 3 times. Twice been told “full, sorry” and that was it…)

We visited for the first time on their 5th birthday, which was rather busy! So I’ve kept that in mind with this review… The team were lovely! I did have to go get my own menus and go in to order, as it felt like we’d been forgotten about outside (and I then had to go get cutlery after our food was brought out, as it was getting cold as the waitress didn’t come back out with cutlery as she said she would… BUT it was busy and clearly had been non stop)

The food was beautiful! A large portion of high quality ingredients which were so flavoursome! I highly recommend going and will definitely go back. Now, my review isn’t a criticism - it’s just to make them aware of not forgetting the guests outside. As I heard another table saying about how some things had been forgotten, or drinks were brought twice. It had clearly been a busy day. But the staff were lovely and we’ll go back to sample more...

Absolutely amazing location for a baby shower! We had a baby shower here in June. The venue had changed hands after I made the booking, but the new owner Yvonne still honoured our booking - even though she had very little notice from the last owners and she did an absolutely incredible job looking after us. We had approximately 16 attending, with plenty of room - the area was completely private and we had a waiter or 2 available almost always to help us. The decorations you see in the pictures where from Yvonne and her team, so beautiful and so thoughtful! We had vegetarian, gluten free and of course pregnant guests and the venue accommodated for all our needs. Yvonne was really easy to talk to and It was easy to make adjustments to our booking where needed. Her team were extremely friendly and welcoming. Staff couldn't care less and in 'machine mode' throughout.

One girl had the cheek of looking to her colleague with a 'smarmy' expression whilst my friend took his time to choose a cake from the display. It's also worth noting that there were flies enjoying a weekend break on the brownies during our visit.

Cake I had was fine, but the avocado sandwich was soggy and sodden due to being made in advanced and disolving the sour dough all day before toasting. I understand this speeds up sales, but if you're truly labelling yourself as 'artisan', you don't take shortcuts.

Cutlery was dirty and I resorted to using my partially soiled teaspoon for my cake as it was the least stain stricken.

The culinary experience was truly mediocre but the 1 star is awarded as a reaction to the rude girl serving us with the soul of a skynet cyborg from...
