I took part in and won the Horsham Esquires Talent Show 2022 back in November. It was advertised that the winner would receive cash prize of £3000 after committing to 10 performances from April 2022 to September 2022, all of which I fulfilled with the expectation of receiving the prize money in full as advertised. After multiple pushbacks from Gianfranco, I was told that the prize money had not been put aside for the winner, and that it would need to be made in 6 installments of £500. I wasn't pleased to hear this, given the committment that contestants had been asked to make over such a long period of time, but I accepted the offer. Since then, I have received one payment of £500 in January and a late payment of £500 in March. Upon both occasions, I have had to chase Esquires and even, involve the Council, to ensure that the money was paid. I am currently fighting to get March's £500 installment with the expectation of still receiving April's £500 installment as per the agreement stipulated by Esquires themselves. Once again, I have met with a wall of silence, as I have been throughout the course of the competition.
If you are an entertainer or a customer who cares about the work of entertainers, steer clear of this coffee shop. My performances brought them a lot of custom and it was my belief that I would be paid accordingly for these efforts as the winner of the talent show. Esquires Horsham's talent show has been badly organised and exploitative of those who work within the entertainment industry from the start. AVOID...

Read moreReally disappointed. We ordered 2 x full English breakfasts (one with extra scrambled eggs) via Deliveroo. We waited over 90 minutes for the order to arrive which we don't have an issue with. However the order was messed up. There was no extra scrambled egg. No baked beans in either breakfast. The toast was not toasted and the butter was on top of the sausages and melted. The eggs were the smallest ones ever seen. The food was lukewarm and considering we paid over £20 it is definately not value for money. When we contacted Esquires they first denied any knowledge of the order and then said that they were experiencing problems with add ons. Then transferred to another person who said they were not authorised to process any refunds and to take the matter up with Deliveroo. No apology given. Really disappointed with the attitude of the staff and the lukewarm small portions. Won't be...
