We were down in St Ives helping a relative with the recent passing of her husband, was my wife birthday was in the middle of this, so I wanted to give her a real treat to change the dynamic. She loves Italian and so we book in for a lunch time meal.

The food was amazing and I know 100% she enjoyed her meal very much. The starters and main were good potions and the fact my wife could not have a desert is evidence alone. She never misses her desert.

We had coffees and as a women, who appreciates good coffee she wanted to know the coffee brand and has now brought the coffee beans to have at home.

We enjoy making our own pasta and when she saw we could buy flour, need I say we now have flour to take home.

The attention to detail with regards the food is amazing, thank you for bringing joy to my wife on her birthday treat.

Just as a side my pizza was amazing and so enjoyable it reminded me when I was recently in northern Italy.

Highly recommend if quality of food...

Order a number of pizza's sides, salads and desserts, all pre paid. I was told by the person taking my order the time it would be ready. I arrived at this time and was confronted by what I can only describe as a very off hand and inconsiderate lady, I believe she was the owner. " It going to be at least 10 more minutes." I said but I was told it would be ready now. " Well it been very busy and we are rushed of our feet." Was the reply and she disappeared into the kitchen. Not an apology, an invite to take a seat nothing. I have no doubt the Pizzas are nice but the experience is quite frankly disscrasfull.

If there is a next time I will pay when...

Fantastic customer service and our every wish was adhered to. We asked to sit somewhere more secluded as we're both extremely vulnerable. We were seated in the snug which only has two tables. The older gentleman took extremely good care of us, and the ladies were very attentive too. I had the peppered steak and my husband had the rabbit ragu and both dishes were fantastic. We had the pre-dinner Amalfi Ice cocktail which was delicious. The only thing that could have improved was that I ordered the meringue with mixed fruits and it arrived was only 3 or 4 blueberries and a couple of chocolate drops on it. I was hoping for strawberries or...

Overall it was OK. The food is excellent. There is no denying that. But the price of it is a little over the top. The food is worth the money but be prepared to foot a bigger bill. The drinks were definitely over priced and not worth the price they charge. I can make better cocktails and G&Ts at home! There is no drinks menu. There's a wine list and there's a pre dinner cocktail list but if you want say a gin and tonic then you have to ask. To summarise I wouldn't say I was disappointed but I doubt I will be going back. The Turkish restaurant just round the corner called Vadi Kitchen is far better.

This will be my seventh time being at this delicious restaurant. The atmosphere is exquisite the food reminds me of when I used to live in Italy and the people are what make this place special. This is the only place I see myself going to enjoy an amazing night with my husband. we’ve gone on double dates and taking our friends here and they love it as well. I love the menu options and how much detail is placed to each plate. The wine and Prosecco choices are great!!! See you soon!

Great family run restaurant. We're vegetarian, so I asked for food that was not shown on the menu and something from their lunchtime menu ... they were so accommodating. The tiamasu was to die for, as was everything we had. Special thanks to the amazing waitresses ... Mary and ilaria for their great service and the owner, Melinda, who all looked after us.
