Visited on Thursday 10 September.

The quality of the breakfasts were good and fair value

However I expected someone to take our order at the table, instead despite them giving us menus, we had to get up and order at the counter, it would help if this information was conveyed to customers when giving out the menus.

However our biggest disappointment was that there was no track and trace details asked for or taken.

Also the lack of social distancing is quite simply staggering. We sat at table 10 and there were three empty tables behind us. We had almost finished our meals when a couple came in and were allowed to sit at table 9 right behind me. I had to ask one of them to move in order to get up from the table as he was that close. No screen separating the tables.

The owners need to take a good look at how they are operating and follow the rules regarding social distancing.

I am minded to report them to the local...

Visited today after passing the bistro several times over the past month. I only wish we had discovered this little gem earlier. The food was great, fresh and we were served with a smile.

It was a very busy lunch and they were fully prepared for the lunchtime rush.

For two adult meals and two rounds of drinks it was around £12 which compared to a lot of places in St Ives is a great price.

We had a quick look at the kids menus as well for future reference and were pleased to see a good variety of things there too.

Portion sizes are good and it's a lovely little place.

My only complaint would be the lack of soap in the bathrooms and it can feel a little cramped...

I don’t normally leave reviews but felt I must after visiting. I have had the privilege of being able to have had quite a few cakes and pastries from Nuts Bistro and whenever we get them we are always blown away with the delicious food and presentation. The owner is such a lovely person and very generous with the portion sizes. They’ll even go that little bit further and specifically make you a custom order if it’s not on the menu. You HAVE to try the carrot cake. It’s genuinely the best we’ve had and we now get a full cake instead of a slice to share with friends. The photos are of the ‘new Easter brownie’ a must for...

Considering the good reviews this cafe enjoys I was surprised to be served possibly the worst sausage and bacon bap I have ever had. It was morning and the sausages had seemingly been left over from the day before and microwaved to death, and they were so dry and crispy that I couldn't eat them. To add insult to injury I had also asked for a brown bap and got white. I had ordered to takeaway and didn't look at it until I arrived back at work. Big mistake. I wish I had gone to McDonalds and saved myself the trip into town. My advice is: if you order take away food from here then make sure you check it before you leave.

Not that I was desperate for a English breakfast, but I was first person here after the restrictions were lifted. Absoulety superb, breakfast was faultless and I will highly recommend you come and try this place! Prices are fair aswell. About halfway through our breakfast the friendly chap that served us came back to see how we were and make sure our breakfast was okay. We even got a couple of drinks on the house. I would recommend eating here over any large chain like businesses, definitely support these smaller local businesses.
