The White Hart — Restaurant in Huntingdonshire

Had Christmas Day lunch at the White Hart. Food as usual was excellent! Flavoursome, good selection, lots of it and hot when served. Service was great and we were not rushed in any way, allowing us to take breaks between courses. All we wanted on Christmas Day was a decent meal in a relaxed atmosphere and not feel like we were under pressure for the next sitting, and this place ticked all our boxes. Staff were amazing! Really polite and well mannered. Couldn’t fault one bit of our experience, the only disappointment is that we couldn’t finish the beautiful Christmas pudding as we were so full! We’ve eaten here a few times now. Sunday carvery, all day brunch, weekday lunch and now Christmas dinner and we’ve never been disappointed! My colleagues and I were working at an event at the Burgess Hall so we pre-booked our table and meals for a large party after working for a long day. The service was 100% amazing - they remembered us from the year before and were super friendly and helpful to us. The food came in big homely portions (a bit of dressing on the salad would be nice for next time though) and was really delicious. I had a veggie nutroast topped with goats cheese (and they gave me an extra yorkie too ❤️). Will 100% be going back later this year if...

One star is generous. Walked in this afternoon (30th april) and walked straight back out again. Horrible attitude from the woman behind the bar.

She was rude to two other customers then made an unnecessary comment as I was walking out. Said she was stressed as she was on her own but the bar wasn’t busy. Don’t think she should be in a customer facing role.
