Not my pub of choice due to being a bit spit and sawdust but each to their own. They have given the place a lick of paint and had new carpets layed since my last visit and it's a welcome improvement. Bar staff are lively and welcoming as ever. Went to a wake recently for a relative of mine who was a local there and I have to say the food was very good....it had the usual sarnies and breaded oven stuff but it also had cheeses and pates and lots of other food that was very nice. As said before I wont make this pub my local but you may like it...

The No dogs on the premise sign could be a bit friendlier but the lady was lovely in saying no dogs and apologising, maybe just a dogs only out the front we could have had a couple of pints but had to go elsewhere which is a shame, im definitely going to come back and get to see the establishment as it...

The buffet was absolutely amazing, so many varieties of foods and beautifully laid out in the separate room.
