21 Jumpin' Waffles — Restaurant in Hyndburn

I have ordered from this place maybe 5-6 times. The last time we ordered was in January. For my mum this was her first time and she ordered a crepe. Unfortunately, the crepe we ordered was definitely not upto standard. It was raw and soggy dough which is folded into 4. Underneath our crepe was a hair. Put a complaint through Facebook on the same day and that was the end of that. Fast forwarding to today we placed an order for waffles. The order took way over 1 hour to arrive for a location that is a mile away. I understand the demand of a weekend etc which is fine but customers should be given an accurate time and not misled. Anyway, order arrived for delivery by “Sam” and to say i was harrassed at my front door was the least. I was given a whole itinerary of my order and why it took so long, in all honesty, i waited that long for the order i didnt want an explanation. The lady then had a nerve to bring my previous complaint about the crepe to my door! I was told my complaint had been fabricated and i will be blacklisted! After recognising my details for making an order, they took my order and charged me for the order then had the cheek to arrive at my door and accuse me of fabricating a complaint. There does not need to be any justice around fabricating a story. A hair was found end off we can move on from it but the fact this was brought to my door 2 months after and on my next order was disgusting. I was handed my order and stood at the door listening to this for 10 minutes. I did not receive a reply regarding my complaint on Facebook rather than it was brought to my door! If I could leave a zero rating I would!! This place is absolutely terrible all the way from the rude woman on the phone when I rang asking why my food was so late???? the food ordered a waffle and it came soggy and ordered ice cream and it might as well have been milk how it was melted never waste money on these lot wasted 15 on this stupid shop at least have some decent management, asked to speak to a manager and spoke to the rudest woman and then a younger worker not helping ?? Came upto the shop tonight, young man in the shop, I had questions as hadn’t really had waffles many times, took menu out to my dad, who was in the car who disabled so hard for him to move.

Was happy for me to take menu, out was patient with me, said it would be 5-10 minutes and said I could go back to my car and he would bring it out. He went above and beyond with customer service and the food it’s self with delicious. The ice cream is smooth and flavourful.
