Whoever handles the McDonald’s app needs to find another job. Me and my family were feeling a bit of McDonald’s today so I ordered the food online. I then arrived there and I showed them the code on my phone. It was all going great until I went to the last window, the women goes to me 'Its not coming up onto my screen, could you go back around' I parked up somewhere in the car park and I was checking on the McDonald’s app to see what had happened. It then says ‘The order has not been placed, there is an issue with the order go inside and speak to somebody’ I thought well if the order hasn’t been placed I may as well just cancel it. So I cancelled the order and placed a new one. I get my food and I’m about to head back home but then I get two emails telling me that two payments have been taking. So I’m thinking huh it must be a mistake double email. But I check closer and there’s two different order numbers. So the order that it was saying there’s an issue with, they took the money for that as well. I went back around and spoke to another lady on the money window, bless her, no beating around the bush she just helped me straight away with it and told me that I’d get a refund. So after waiting there for almost an hour I got back home and I’m just excited to eat, but then I see a couple of things are missing? So I’m thinking wow they’ve taken the money from me and they’ve not given me everything. I tried calling them I get no answer. Very annoyed, those people that are in the kitchen also need to be sacked. It’s not a chill spot where you can talk with your friends. They’re getting paid for making our orders wrong? Terrible. I’m actually very disappointed. After all the years of me ordering from McDonald’s in Hyndburn. I’ll never be going back there again. And if I could leave 0 stars I would. Or even minus stars, they’d be getting a never ending...
Read moreThe worst McDonald's I've ever been in and will never go ever again!! The last 4 times of going in over a 6 weeks. The milkshake machine has not been working and not been able to get one not been able to get a McFlurry either 4 times over 6 weeks that's just ridiculous!! Just from a business point of view they must have been literally losing thousands of pounds no milkshakes no mcflurrys days and weeks anybody else would have just purchased a new machine!! But my last visit asked for a plane chicken mayo no salad no sources they came with everything on it also asked for a burger for my son and 2 lots of fries not only did I not end up with the correct plain chicken I also did not get my fries and yet having never eaten the salad and sauces stuff I was accused of asking for salad and sauces and not asking for fries which is just absolutely ridiculous he just did not want to be there!! Then when he was accusing me of waiting and smirking and sniggering when he was saying it he then came unstuck when he got a load of verbal back once the manager had heard him back chatting and arguing with the customer and calling the customer a lighter he got sent of the tills and into the food prep area!! And the fact that everything was messed up and about the machines yet again still broken most other places would have probably offered you a refund or something else in place of but not a single thing attitude just absolutely Trouble is when people are working at places like McDonald's when they actually do not want to be there you ain't gonna get the correct level of service from them in the...

Exquisite burgers, side orders and desserts.
On my most recent visit though, I opted for the Filet-o-Fish: A succulent fillet of wild-caught Alaskan pollock, lightly coated in a crisp, golden tempura batter, topped with a tangy tartar sauce and a slice of melted cheese (an unusual variety, possibly Belgian), served on a soft, toasted steamed bun. This was accompanied by a side of thinly-cut fries, doubtless made from fresh potatoes and cooked to perfection in rapeseed oil. A classic.
A wide range of carbonated and chilled beverages is available, as well as tea and freshly-brewed Arabica coffee. I chose Sprite without ice, a sparkling and refreshing beverage, made with natural flavours of lemon and lime, and sweetened to perfection. A perfect balance of crispness and sweetness, that quenched my thirst and invigorated my palate.
I followed this with a McFlurry: an elegant, bespoke paper dish filled with creamy vanilla soft-serve dairy ice cream, swirled with a choice of crunchy toppings - I chose Oreo cookies. This dish was a rich, indulgent and satisfying treat.
The décor is stunning in bright, shiny, man-made materials, almost out of place for the town.
Dress code casual, although I did notice many of the customers were real trendsetters, a fascinating subculture of British society with colourful and distinctive...
