Had my first visit to Mannings yesterday I always assumed it was a real ale type place with expensive drinks. I was wrong, it was neither of those things. Standard selection of drinks which were all very reasonably priced. It is an old building but there wasnt much in the way of character. The decor was nice with plenty of comfortable seats. Several TV screens dotted around the place showing sport. Bar staff friendly.

There is good seating outside, both out front on the square and at the back in a private yard. However, I hesitate to recommend it because it attracts some rather unsavoury characters.
