Shocking experience at the pub. Went in with some mates and had a go on the slots. Immediately kicked off for not being a paying customer, so most of us decided to get drinks. Got id’d again and bags searched. We went to sit at a table outside. Same lady who served us came and found us within a minute of us sitting down and told us in a confronting manor to leave the pub as not all of us bought drinks stating it’s not a drop in it’s a pub. Sorry but not every single person has to buy a drink then and there to be able to socialise at a pub. We didn’t argue and just decided to leave. Will not be returning. Worst pub experience to date. Read moreThe Swan in its former incarnation was a cherished fixture of Ipswich's pub and live music scene. When it temporarily closed its doors, many of us were worried we'd lost a favourite. But since reopening as Swan & Hedgehog, it seems to have picked up where it left off. I was in recently for a live rock band on a Friday night. Great choice by the owners. Read moreI think you need to re-think who you get into do your music, the dj can't mix a song into another song at all. Made me cringe everytime it changed. My nephew, who's 4, can mix music better then him. Second dj on, mixed the music, brilliantly!! Male toilets smell like public toilets!! Obviously staff never check them as the cubical was full of s**t!!! Music is far to loud, especially for a Wednesday night. Won't be coming back and just moved to Ipswich.
