I think Batley is most certainly becoming my fave food place - their food scene is just a gift that keeps on giving.

If you’re in the area and have a bit of a sweet tooth, i definitely recommend coming here.

You know how harsh and critical when it comes to dessert so when I say its worth a visit, I mean it. The gelato here is definitely superior to ice stones and even heavenly desserts. Much more smoother, richer and creamier and packed full of flavour. I’ve been a few times now and this time I was pleased to find new additions of french patisserie items - if i had i space, i would definitely have tried more than one but on this occasion i went for the pistachio opera cake - and oh my god - this did not disappoint. Super soft and moist genoise sponge. Usually buttercream tends to be super sweet on cakes from dessert places but the one on this one resembled my own. This cake was not only presented beautifully but each layer just was nailed perfectly. If you’re not allergic to nuts i say go for it. It was a generous portion and as it’s so rich its almost impossible to finish. I ate half, took a tea break and then couldn’t resist polishing off the rest! My elder daughter had the cookie dough, she thoroughly enjoyed it and my younger one had shake which she loved.

Overall i believe the food is fresh, tasty and the portion sizes are generous and good value for money. There is ample seating and the staff were warm, welcoming and looked genuinely happy to be there.

You scan a QR code on your table for the menu and then head to the till to make your order & pay first. There is so much to choose from!

SnowCold is one of our favourite local dessert parlours. They have a huge variety of desserts from milkshakes to waffles to many types of Gelato Ice Creams.

The interior decor of this place sets a high standard in design. There is a touch of luxury making it feel like a posh hotel. This creamery is large and spacious with many tables for seating.

We ordered a Midnight Mint Milkshake and a Gelato Gateaux with a scoop of Luxury Gelato ice cream. The milkshake comes in a large vase shaped glass topped with cream and some green mint toppings. Their gateaux was on point and was served with fresh cream. On another occasion we ordered a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough with ice cream. This was served with Luxury Vanilla Gelato and Gourmet warm chocolate sauce. It was presented on a wooden plaque. We have also tried their Royal Rocher Luxury Belgian Waffle which I could strongly recommend. This came smothered with Nutella, crushed Ferrero Rocher pieces, warm chocolate sauce and sprinkled with chocolate blossoms 😋.

The customer service was great as you would expect. They have a large car park and nearby on-street parking is available too. Card payments are accepted here.
