On Thursday 20th February following my early morning getting home from elsewhere I decided to visit your Weatherspoons to enjoy a breakfast and warm drink. I purchased a large breakfast sat at table 48 to my recall . In the middle of enjoying it I ended up eating a hidden piece of eggshell mixed and cooked into the 2 eggs. As a result of the piece of eggshell around the soft food I took this out of my mouth putting it on the edge of my plate Also from my breakfast food plate as a whole I had to take a piece of stalk out of my mouth. I'd like to bring to your due diligence and attention the clear lack of in house practical training and staff insight is disproportionate to the knowledge of only employing a specific category age of your staff team across your company as with egg issues at the Morley branch also However your clear improvement of the electronic allergens accessible information boards does not cover you of liability and accountability of customers right to choose against and of their wishes This is because on balance your kitchen staff can clearly make this mistake in food preparation before it leaves your kitchens then when the customer eats it unknowingly to themselves will result in anaphylaxis shock, throat swelling, obstructed Airways then lack of Oxygen of no timeframe you could reverse this of then the stalk pieces stuck in their throat There is no knowledge of this across Costa Coffee, Weatherspoons or Prèt A Mangèr respectively of the later being in...
Read moreWent last night to grab some food and a beer after me and my friends finished work. Bearing in mind that my boyfriend is very clearly over 25, and that we were in a group where every member was 24 (apart from me who is 21), he was ID’d and since he cannot afford ID they refused to serve him and went as far as to kick us out AFTER we had paid for our food.
Our friends who arrived before us were still finishing their meal and drinks however, and I had come to see them, so the staff made us wait outside in the snow until they had finished up.
Staff were extremely rude and unreasonable and my 3 friends who had got there before us said that their food was disgusting and rubbery, and that even the kitchen staff were nasty.
Staff were extremely quick to shove us out as well, had multiple of the waiters stooping over us to make us leave when we had done nothing but be cooperative. We tried to (politely) argue our case and say that it would be extremely weird and creepy for three 24yr olds and a 21 year old to be hanging out with a 17 year old but they just suggested that we were creepy.
DO NOT GO - they will steal your money for food and drinks if you look...
Read moreMe and my lady friend went thier yesterday. It was a meeting place, where we could grab a meal and enjoy the ambiance. We both ordered a cheeseburger and chips. Also a cup each for hot drinks. There was no milk or sugar left for the hot drinks. The staff had already proved that they didn't have the time or patience to top up. So we bit the bullet when it came to the hot drinks. The worse was to come! Two plates were placed on the table. I had 11 chips on mine, my partner had about 17. We had to go and forrage for sauces again. We found the sauces, after asking a customer where they were. Eventually getting back to our plates. The chips were absolutely bland and dry. The burger faired no better. We paid extra for a plastic cheese slice that disappeared somehow. There was a soggy lettuce leaf underneath. The burger itself was absolutely tastless and loaded in grease. There was grease dripping down my hands whilst trying to battle through it. All in all it was a horrible experience. The food and service was awful. £13.50 for the privilege. I don't ever complain, but this place had given me just cause to do...
