This was my first visit to the Coffee House Kirkby. The staff are so welcoming. Although quiet, there is a relaxing atmosphere, great tunes. It's definitely worth a visit.

This was my first visit to the Coffee House Kirkby. The staff are so welcoming. Although quiet, there is a relaxing atmosphere, great tunes. It's definitely worth a visit.

As my wife is a Coeliac sufferer(Gluten Free) she was really happy that the Coffee House had Gluten free food, as it was better than Costa. The staff are really a joy to engage with. However of late the shop has had no toilets working, there should at least be somewhere to wash hands etc. Now the big problem and the reason we started coming to the shop, Gluten free food, one item available and very limited quantities, so often it's sold out very quickly, not so good if everyone else can eat. I personally have walked out when there is nothing for my wife to eat. This really let's down an otherwise great store. Plus the staff are continually having to apologise for something that isn't their fault. Also there are only 4 tables for more than 2 people. We have watched at least 3 families and 1 group of friends walk in and straight back out today as there are no...

Tried to get a piece of chocolate cake in this shop today but was told by the member of staff they couldn't warm the cake up because I quote "it's risky" what a complete load off nonsense how is putting a piece of chocolate cake in a microwave for 30 seconds "Risky" no raw food is prepared on the premises its all pre cooked before it gets to the shop to add I have just had the most ridiculous response from the owners saying that the cake would have turned to mush in a microwave absolute simpletons the lot of them don't go to this shop there is a COSTA around the corner who know how to use a...

Wanted to try a Coffee House for a while, finally had a chance in Kirkby. Large space with outdoor seating for those sunny days. Good choice of tables with a few comfy benches but no sofas to settle in for a longer stay. Personally the coffee would not be my first choice but tastes vary, thatā€™s why itā€™s great to have options. Food was prepackaged and warmed. No complaints but look elsewhere if you want a fresh cooked breakfast. Imagine it could get a little loud on a busy day due to the large open space but a good option for those looking to...
