We're regulars here. The food, drink and views are all really good. They have a complicated table numbering system because they are regularly moved. This means that the person serving the refreshments has to come outside and shout the number of the table in order to find the recipients. I've seen hot food go cold while this process is carried out.

My second gripe is concerning the speed of table clearing this can be a little slow when they're busy. I witnessed an empty table fill with fresh customers... one of them decided to try and help by taking the dishes to the counter only to be told by the owner to return it to the table and wait. I realise it may cause complications at the counter but an appreciation of help offered is a better way of dealing with this, not an order to wait.

We will, of course return. It's the best view on...

We'd just cycled from Silverdale to Morecambe on the '700' route & were looking for somewhere to get a coffee & sarnie. We spotted the Stone Jetty Café sign & decided to go there. Locked the bikes to the railings behind the café. Got to admit we were impressed...we both had a chunky fish fingers sandwich & a portion of chips to share along with a pot of green tea & a latte. The fish fingers & chicken were freshly cooked & piping hot. They were fantastic smeared with ketchup & tartar sauce... The staff were excellent, very helpful & friendly. The loos were spotlessly clean. All in all a five star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ experience. Afterwards we cycled back to our campsite...

Lovely location and views, just a shame about the management. Ordered drinks and ice cream and sat down, before leaving though I asked for my water bottle to be filled and they tried to charge me for tap water. The manager stated it was because the ‘water bill has gone up’ and this meant he felt it okay to charge for tap water, a service required by law for any licensed premises to provide for free. I was appalled at not only the charge, but the aggressive and rude manner the manager spoke to my husband when he complained on my behalf. I will not be going back in future, and will definitely be telling all of my friends and...

So what can I say about Morecambe and the Stone Jetty? If I’m honest I was disappointed in Morecambe, a little run down and sad, which is such a shame because it’s on an amazing stretch of coast with stunning views. The promenade is lovely which leads you to The Stone Jetty, and I enjoyed walking along it and seeing Cumbria in the distance. It was glorious sunshine and that prolonged my stay in Morecambe, and I’m glad I went because I took some lovely pictures. Experience it for yourself though ❤️

We LOVED our trip to the Stone Gate Cafe. We were 3 generations and dined on Morecambe Bay potted shrimps on toasted crumpets with tasty salad garnish, and an egg and bacon bap, followed by really good coffee (I had affogato) and a giant slice of egg yolk coloured Jaffa cake. So friendly. Liked the painting just along from table 1. Really jolly both decor and the owners. Deservedly busy. Would go again in a flash! Thank you for having us.

Great stone jetty/pier sticking out in to Morecambe Bay behind the Midland Hotel. A nice walk to the end with a view back that allows you to see the whole bay area. Some nice sea bird sculptures adorn the railings alternatively looking out to sea & watching over the jetty. The end of the jetty has been named Trafalgar Point the celebrate the relationship between the town & HMS Trafalgar.
