Saturday 1st January 2022 I visited this Lancaster up market micro pub This pub had one of the best ranges of Hydes rail ales on hand pump This pub was refreshingly pleasant inside, and the clientele was really nice Saturday 19th August We again came into this great real ale pub Great atmosphere Saturday night it was packed A 1 roomed gem The real ales were localish brewed, and the ales on were well kept This pub is handy for train station and The pub is well worth a visit Staff is good to boot today as well Saturday 30th November 2024 Tonight, we again drank in this fantastic real ale pub, the pub is a real gem, it has a quaint easy going feel to the place a grand choice of hand pumped ales good staff and a CAMRA DISCOUNT. Really disappointing experience this time. Went in on Friday at around 5pm. Don't know if the bloke serving was the owner or not but he had a really bad attitude, was incapable of any conversation and made us feel uncomfortable the entire time we were there. Got a mere grunt when I left and said thank you. Very strange behavior from someone who works in a pub. Not exactly cheap and can go other places for a cheaper, friendlier pint of Guinness. Also had an attitude when we pointed out that the Guinness head was huge and asked for a top up. Such a shame as previously left a 5 star review from a visit a while ago. Won't be going...

Mia was absolutely amazing. Very attentive, made two amazing limoncello spritz. Would definitely come back, only! If Mia is still here. Otherwise I will not because what’s the point. Amazing customer service, wonderful attitude, she deserves all the praise and definitely a promotion as she is the only reason I would come back to this bar. I love her.
