Went here for a post birthday sunday lunch with a friend and my daughter. All I can say is ,I won't be going back.
On arrival we asked if it was ok to sit outside,the lady said yes and then just said ,3 big breakfasts ,without even offering a menu .We asked for a menu and she just brought out breakfast menus,so I asked for a main menu,and if i could have two cokes and a cranberry juice. After checking out the menu 2 of us decided on the fluffy pancakes with fresh fruit,which we were bluntly told "no pancakes ,no fresh fruit " We found the lady to be quite brusk and lacking in good customer service. Had the bruschetta starter, this was tasteless, and the 3 bits of bread were soggy, and far too much chopped up raw tomato's. The main course was ok, large portion of fries, good size, in fact too big , chicken in an average white wine sauce but the biggest disappointment was the tiramisu. It looked enormous and was presented beautifully however tasted of nothing but cream. No coffee taste with not just mine but also with others. Read moreGreat local restaurant. Staff lovely , food fab, owner / chef is a lovely friendly guy . Wine prices very reasonable. . Menu is plenty full and usually a special of the week . For those with a smaller appetite you can order half portion of pasta type dishes . I would recommend booking a table (maybe not in all cases ) as is a small restaurant (I could actually see this moving to a larger premises as it’s really taken off in such a short time) breakfast is served till about noon then lunch menu, closes 2.30 pm then reopens 5.30pm for evening service .. well...
