Visited for the first time to the new store and left me very disappointed with the service, menu and pricing.
Out for a nice Sunday family walk, I ordered the Desi Indian Breakfast along with the Kadak Chai. We asked for a large Kadak Chai and bought a bottle of Lemonade on top of that.
Whilst ordering, between 2 of the staff members, I asked if I could have the breakfast with masala beans and swap my parathas to an aloo parathas. Neither cold grasp this and kept re-starting my order. This took around 5-7 minutes until they decided that I can't do this and would have to order them as an extra. I was then asked if I wanted green chillies, tomatoes, cheese and onions with my omelette. Having a "Masala" omelette, one would expect a "Masala" omelette to come with all the trimmings to make it a "Desi Masala" omelette but no, not here! All extras were charged individually.
I received the food and couldn't believe the portion size of the beans but even worse, the parathas weren't fresh or made inhouse. They were shop-bought, pre-cooked and frozen and were just heated under a grill/oven.
The Kadak Chai was ok at best! Very rich and heavy and with a bad layout of the store, I found where to get napkins etc halfway through my breakfast
At ÂŁ7.95, this was a joke! You'll see in the picture by what I mean. Compare this to a proper Full English Breakfast, you'd pay less and get more!
Verdict: Don't waste your...

I recently visited Chaiiwala Leeds and was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. The restaurant was spotless, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made for a comfortable dining setting.
Food: I started with the Samosa Chaat, which was an explosion of flavorsâcrispy samosas paired perfectly with tangy tamarind chutney and cooling yogurt. It was a delightful blend of sweet, spicy, and savory. The Pink Lemonade was a refreshing accompaniment, striking just the right balance of tartness and sweetness.
For dessert, the Donuts were light, fluffy, and simply delicious, with a subtle sweetness that made them hard to resist. The meal ended on a high note with the Pink Chai, a creamy and aromatic tea that was both visually stunning and incredibly comforting.
Service & Hospitality: The service was top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure I had a great experience. Their knowledge and genuine warmth made the meal even more enjoyable.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness of the restaurant was impeccable. Every detail, from the spotless tables to the polished cutlery, showed a high standard of care.
Overall: Chaiiwala Leeds offers a fantastic dining experience with delicious food, exceptional service, and a clean, inviting environment. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a...
Read moreFirst time eating here and at best I can say the food is average. I ordered the gulab jamun cheesecake which barely had any gulab jaman in it. It was just a regular cheesecake. I also ordered strawberry nimbu pani expecting a tangy refreshing drink. At the very least something resembling a lemony taste. It just tasted like watered down squash with a lemon slice thrown in and they added so much ice there was barely any drink. Very poor!! I was asked if I wanted mint with my nimbu pani and I replied yes. When I received my receipt I was charged 30p for one mint leaf!! This is not listed on the menu as an extra nor was I told when ordering. The establishment should be more honest and transparent with it's prices. My sister asked for kadak chai with oat milk but they said the machine was broken. Customer service is poor they do not wipe down tables nor do they replenish items. Had to ask for more napkins. Portions are quite small too for the prices they charge. If I come again it will be for the kadak chai which was the only plus point...
