My Moortown Tandoori (Restaurant & Takeaway) — Restaurant in Leeds

DO NOT USE!!!!!

so i ordered online at 7pm, got an email confirmation saying it would be arriving by 8pm. I rang up at 8.20pm and got told they were trying to locate the delivery driver, they rang me back to say my order was just been cooked and wouldn't be long as were busy? I was understanding anyway and waited. at 9pm I rang back and was told it was still been cooked?! and on questioning why my order hadn't yet left the kitchen after 2 hours I got the phone put down on me.

rang back AGAIN and asked what was happening and was told they were busy but would be here soon... I asked how long and was told 7/8minutes....

I'm quite a reasonable person but over 2 hours wait is absolutely diabolical and i don't expect to be lied to on numerous occasions.

zero effort was made to offer any kind of goodwill gesture or real appology just "we are busy"

how about u stop taking orders or have decent courtesy to ring me using the number I had posted on my order and inform me of the situation?

shocking service, appalling time keeping and even now at 9.25pm I am still currently waiting....

can't comment on the food as I am yet to receive it but I would never use these again on pure principle regardless of what the food is like.

I was driving past on street lane noticed Moortown Tandoori so thought I'd just grab a menu. It smelt lovely inside and the staff were really friendly so ended up up ordering! I got the butter chicken, they cooked it just how I asked, really creamy and sweet. I really appreciate how they have an open window so you can watch every thing they do. I liked seeing my lamb chops that I ordered being grilled fresh infront of me inside that Tandoori grill. I'm gonna visit again soon with family, definitely a place...

Poor quality ingredients, first time visit. Wouldn't visit again.

We feel that we wasted £30 on food that looked and tasted cheap. We had to walk to moortown corner to get the cash as they didn't take card. They also forgot the poppadoms that we paid for. Since we live so close we're really disappointed that they've put short term profits over good quality food.

The food was sugary, sweet and seemed to have food colouring used in some dishes. The mint yoghurt was watery. I think...
