Chicken Cottage — Restaurant in Leeds

Literally never bought anything from here before. For the first time i ordered a mountain stack box off just eat and it never turned up. Now i thought this could be just eats fault so i left them a note abd also rang the shop and theybsaid its just eats fault.

The next night i ordered the same but ordered directly from the shop. The order took an hour which was 20 mins past tge time they said on the phone. When i tried the chips they were dry and hard. Then i had a bite of my burger and got the longest black hair in my mouth that was inside the chicken. I took a video and pictures of the hair and i phoned the shop back with 5 mins and told them. There reply was its not our fault as nobody has long hair in the shop. We went back an forth for 15 mins and he just said its not our policy to give refunds and if i wanted to walk to the shop and check if anyone has long hair im welcome! Also that if i wanted to complain direct to their supplier i can, then refused to give me the details to do so. I will be posting the videos online as i said i would if they didnt give me a refund. Please avoid at all costs. Terrible customer service and food was awful unlsess you like dry hard chips and long black hairs...

Best chicken in the area! Plenty on the menu and always hot and fresh. I refuse to go to KFC now and will always go to Chicken Cottage instead. Recommend the mountain burger.

The prices are good and the quality of the meal is excellent.

The fries are so tasty we got an extra portion to eat on the way home In the car!

The guys who work there are always friendly and organised so your meal is never stood on a hot counter waiting for you to collect, it’s bagged up as you get there.

Ordered through UberEats. They accepted the order. Gave a delivery time of 30-40 mins. 3 hours later they put it as delivered. It was NOT delivered! We tried calling & calling & calling, NO answer! So not only did they lie that they delivered, they totally ignored us! I am STILL waiting the refund. No idea what has happened because I use to like this take-away.
