Country Crust — Restaurant in Leeds

As I waited for my sandwich the staff had her hair swinging about(should be in hair net) a customer rang up and asked for well done spam once the phone went down staff started complaining “extra 10mins for well done, ITS WHAT THE CUSTOMER WANTS!! My sandwich is ready no toms on it enough fat to give me heart attack and the spam that thin it cut my throat on way down it actually is not meat any more it’s a razor crisp asked for brown sauce I’d of had more if I had a sachet of it dry not nice and a waste of £7 greggs offer a better breakfast for £2.50 staff need to learn how to smile at customer not just there regulars…..

Just to clarify I never snatched the sandwich out of your hands at all you passed me my sandwich when I said it’s ok twice I was late and couldn’t wait any longer! As to the hair nets o never saw the cook so wouldn’t know if he was bald I meant the staff at the front of the counter her hair swinging everywhere and any woman knows when you where a fleece jacket you loose your hair! A lot of people have suffered through covid me for one! but that’s not an excuse to use for having a review left… please tell me how I was rude I’d only ever said “it was ok over the toms” And maybe they are important to my sandwich why be so rude about them and if I wanted toms what’s the problem with that??? When I run a cafe 20 years ago my customers was always right your establishment has so many rules it was like been at school.. just by your reply just shows how rude you are! your suppose to take negative comments and turn them into positives not be rude back…

And this review is more to the food razor thin spam and too much fat! If your going to give customers all that fat at least cook it properly!!

Rude staff, refused to cook bacon well done staying “he will shout at me for asking”. Also I couldn’t change 1 item on the breakfast as I really dislike egg! Walked out and left my over priced latte

The worst part is my wife who is 8 months pregnant and been travelling for a couple hours a really needed a drink so I ordered drinks before we sat down and the girl behind the counter took complete offence to this and had a bad attitude.

Having read more reviews it seems this is the type of customer service offered there as I’m not the first to leave a review like this. I’ve also noticed they reply to reviews quite inappropriately so would expect the same for me.

Full English at country crust is by far the best I’ve ever had everything is cooked to perfection. Since finding this little gem right on my doorstep me and my friend go most Saturday mornings before a bit of retail therapy. The service is very good, nothing is too much trouble for them , they are all very friendly and always greeted with a smile and a cheery good morning. If you’ve not tried it yet you are seriously missing out on good grub. My friend and I tried the ham, cheese and onion toastie because the kitchen was closed for hot food and I’ve got to say that was also beautiful and very filling.
