Honestly was really quite disappointed with the value of the food, the portion size, and even the taste of the burgers. I got the prawn and beef burger combo and the bottom half of the bun was not only clearly stale and a bit cold, but the flavour of the burger was just not right. Like there were too many flavours competing with each other. My husband got the one with onion rings in the burger and he thought the taste was weird as well.

What I really was most disappointed in however was the price of the burger + fries: for about £4.50 we got a measly 6, thin onion rings and slightly less than that for a handful of very thin fries. As you can see from the photo, the burgers are really quite small - if they were £6-8 I wouldn’t be so upset, but my burger was £12+ just on its own.

It was also quite hot inside which I won’t fault too much but would be nice to have a fan or something to cool us down. But it did take the chef 20+ mins to make our food - and we were the only ones in the restaurant. To give the benefit of the doubt, I suspect the chap at the till was also juggling doing the cooking. - he was really quite lovely, couldn’t really fault him.

So yeah, went home barely full, having spent about £15pp with disappointing food in terms of taste and value really put a damper on us, seeing as we went out to celebrate my graduation. With a 4.7 rating on Google, I’d expected much better. I’d probably give this a 2.5 if Google did half stars. But yeah, wouldn’t...

Their food is not even 1 star worthy. I ordered 2 AM beef burgers, 1 chicken burger and fries.

The burgers were dry, tasteless and disgusting. No taste, no seasoning and very sloppy in every sense. The chips portions were a joke. Small portion and again sloppy and limp.

How this place has got 4.7 for rating is beyond me. NEVER AGAIN will I order or eat from here again. 100% NOT recommended.

In response to your message left on my review, I feel you may need to check with Uber. I had, as soon as I realised a few minutes after reporting to them that I had made a mistake & to reimburse you the refund they gave to me. So, I hardly think that was dishonest of me. If I hadn't contacted them back, then I would say your statement would stand.  Furthermore, If I was going to be "dishonest", I would've certainly not done it for a few measly pounds!!! If you have not been reimbursed by Uber that is hardly my fault. You would need to take it up with them for not doing so. Also, I have no need to sabotage your reputation, you are doing that very well yourself, with the lack of food quality you're serving. Therefore, my initial review still stands. In future please get your facts straight before throwing accusations around and handing...

So disappointed with the food here.. was expecting great things given all the 4/5 star reviews!! We ordered 2 burgers, chips and cheese, onion rings and a slice of carrot cake to take out. The burgers were rock hard, like they’d been cooked and then cooked again later, they were burnt to a crisp but freezing cold. Granted we ordered take away but we live 5 mins away and were in the car with heating on full blast. There was also far too much sauce on the burger which didn’t taste nice..The chips were also cold, re fried and rock hard, and tiny portion for the price!! But the onion rings were good. The carrot cake was also good, but it’s from Costco so it’s gonna be! Overall, real disappointed. Can’t even make allowances for them being rushed off their feet.. Saturday night almost 7pm and the place was dead. The food was overpriced and of really poor quality. Don’t know who is writing the reviews for them but take no notice of the great reviews! Much better places to eat in that area....
