This place is one of the best date day/night ideas. We went midweek and at one point there was only us playing on the boards. This experience is wow. I booked a week in advanced however I think you would get away with not booking midweek.
The shuffleboard:
We have never played shuffle board before so we didn’t know what to expect. However the game were amazing. They come with little videos to explain how they work. Time went so quick and all the games were very enjoyable.
The staff:
The staff were amazing. I assume it was the manager that took care of us because he was in different clothing. He was fantastic. He introduced the games took us over the board and was really helpful. He even surprised us with a little treat which was amazing. I wish I got his name cause he was brilliant. Also as we took team photos he printed these out onto little cards so we could remember the experience. It was a really nice touch.
The service/Email Booking:
It was really easy to book and pay in advance. I would argue you cannot complain with the price. We got a bottle of Prosecco and this lasts the 60 min games. It was really nice too.
You get an email the day after with the winning clips and the photos. This is an amazing touch so you can share your winning moments. Or you can celebrate and look like a clown.
Drinks/Food
We didn’t have food but looking at the prices they are a little on the expensive side. The drinks were superb. We did get some extra cocktails and these were fantastic. The new flavours and look of them are really top tier. Not to mention they are really tasty. Would 100 percent recommend them.
Venue:
The venue is really unique. The vibes are perfect. Really chilled and calm. I even found a song of one oh my fave games ever Skate 3. It was amazing. Everywhere was spotless and the games board was immaculate.
Overall:
This place is a vibe and honestly really good fun. You have flight club next door too which is very similar to this place. I would recommend anyone to go. Thank you to the guys and the staff there it was a special day....
Read moreCame late Sunday afternoon without booking, asked to play a game and was told there would be a 15/20 minute wait but we're given a buzzer and said we could get a drink and wait until our time. Drink prices were very reasonable with plenty of selection and one of the first places we had come across that were actually serving Guinness so bonus points for that.
The cost for 90 minutes was £16 for 2 which I think is extremely reasonable in this economy. The table was cleaned and sanitized before our game and re sanded ready for the pucks. The staff were incredibly friendly and really welcoming.
There were 4 different interactive games you could choose from with how to videos to go along with each. It's harder than you would think to get the right speed with the pucks. The 90 minutes flew by and we had an absolute blast. If you've never done something like this I would say it's a must and the whole venue is a really special place.
Would definitely visit again if in the area and would recommend it...
Read moreShuffleboard is a lot of fun and the electronic elements make it super convenient.
The issue I've got is the price. They don't charge per table, they charge per person and you don't get more time if there's more of you. So a group of 4 of us are paying more for less time each. This needs looking at in my opinion - most places do a charge per table/booth/etc for similar experiences.
Secondly they offer table service with a call host button for drinks/good etc. We got 4 drinks which came to £40, which felt way to high (2 double spiced rum and cokes were around £20) and then they had the audacity to charge £5 for service without letting us know that the table service was charged. If we'd ordered food I'd understand, but on a drinks order? Not the one.
Overall I do recommend electric shuffle and I want to rate it higher. But a hidden £5 charge for table service feels like a pretty sly business practice, especially when you couple that with very...
