My recent dining experience at FRANKSTERS can only be described as a culinary catastrophe. From the frigid and tasteless spicy burger to the Arctic-cold chips and excessively oily dishes, this restaurant left my taste buds in a state of shock.
The spicy burger, which promised a flavourful kick, arrived disappointingly cold, rendering any hope for a satisfying heat level null and void. It seemed as though the chef had mistaken "spicy" for "icy." The lack of taste on the burger was truly astonishing — it was like biting into a flavourless void.
As if the burger's mediocrity wasn't enough, the chips were served resembling frozen sticks rather than the crispy, golden delicacies one would expect. The lack of warmth and flavour in these side dishes made them more suitable as hockey pucks than as an accompaniment to a meal.
To add insult to injury, the entire spread was drenched in an unhealthy amount of oil. It was as if the chef had a vendetta against anyone watching their cholesterol levels. The excessive greasiness permeated every bite, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste that lingered long after I had left the restaurant. Furthermore, the unsettling practise of FRANKSTERS opening their own store-bought bottled sauce and putting it into empty plastic containers for resale at 50p per pot raises serious questions about cleanliness and sanitation and casts doubt on the restaurant's dedication to adhering to hygiene standards. FRANKSTERS was unfortunately marred by an encounter with a particularly rude manager. Despite the restaurant's otherwise unpleasant ambiance and mediocre service, the manager's lack of professionalism and dismissive attitude left a sour taste in my mouth.
Upon addressing a concern about my order, I expected a reasonable and courteous response. However, the manager's dismissive demeanor and apparent lack of interest in resolving the issue were disheartening. It's disconcerting when a manager, who should be a model of customer service, instead contributes to a negative dining experience.
In summary, FRANKSTERS managed to turn what should have been a simple meal into a regrettable experience. If you're seeking cold, tasteless, and oily fare, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I strongly advise against subjecting your taste buds to the ordeal that is dining...
Read moreI recently visited FRANKSTER’s with high expectations for a satisfying wing experience, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. While the ambiance and service were half decent, the issue arose when it came to the pricing of their sauces and an unexpected refusal to provide a sauce with my order of 12 wings. Firstly, the cost of the sauces caught me off guard. I found the additional charge for sauces to be exorbitant, making what seemed like a simple condiment an unwarranted luxury. It's one thing to pay extra for premium sauces, but the prices here seemed disproportionately high, especially considering the overall cost of the meal.
To add to the disappointment, when I requested a sauce to accompany my 12 wings, I was met with a surprising refusal by an rude manager wearing a black shirt. It's disheartening when a restaurant is unwilling to accommodate a reasonable request, especially when it concerns a fundamental aspect of the meal. The refusal felt unwarranted and left me questioning the customer service standards of FRANKSTER’s.
Moreover, the overall value for money was questionable. The combination of high wing prices and the additional charge for sauces made the meal feel overpriced for what was ultimately a standard dining experience.
In addition to the above the disconcerting practice of FRANKSTERS opening up their own store-bought bottled sauce and transferring it into empty plastic containers for resale at 50p per pot raises serious concerns about sanitation and cleanliness, casting a shadow on the restaurant's commitment to hygiene standards.
In conclusion, while FRANKSTERS may offer a sub-standard dining atmosphere and service, the overpricing of sauces and the refusal to provide a basic condiment with my order of 12 luke warm wings left me with a less-than-satisfactory impression. I hope the management considers reevaluating their pricing strategy and customer service policies to provide a more enjoyable and fair dining experience for their patrons as I will now be boy cotting this place...

Finally a good halal eatery located in the heart of White Rose Shopping Centre!
This new restaurant is much welcomed as there has not been any suitable halal places at White Rose before this. We have been to other local Frankies, but first time to the new Frankster’s.
There is a good number of seats, although at peak times, you will be searching. The menu is focused with mostly burgers and and chicken options. The restaurant is clean, well laid out and has fast service.
Mrs ordered the Hot Mama burger. This comes with Spicy Chicken Fillet, Peri Peri Sauce, Hash Brown, Cheese, Jalapeños, Lettuce, Mayonnaise 🍔
Mr ordered the signature burger Double Whammy 100% Beef, Crispy Fried Chicken, Cheese, Peri Peri Sauce, Red Onion, Jalapeños, Lettuce 🍔
Both burgers were amazing and were served with a generous amount of hot fresh house fries and sugar free hot drinks.
If you ever visit White Rose, don’t forget to visit Frankster’s!
Frankster’s is HMC Approved and accepts card payments.
