Greggs — Restaurant in Leeds

Went to get some potato wedges and thought id dine in as there was no customers in. Saw there was no wedges in the hot counter so walked over to checkout to ask staff. I could see a member of staff stood at the back drinking coffee and talking to another colleague. Took her some time to acknowledge me and come over. I asked her if she had any more wedges in the back and she said no, I asked if she will be making more as I can wait and RITA said they won’t be making any more they only make them in the morning and they are done for the day. I was quite surprised as it was only 3pm and wedges are usually popular in the afternoon. She said to go to the other Greggs next to M&S as they should have some. (How would you know and if they did why didn’t you?) Rita if you could be bothered to make them as you should have done I wouldn’t have had to walk to the other Greggs! @greggs please sort your lazy staff out it’s not acceptable I had to walk with my young daughter all the way to the other Greggs just for some...

When arrived at nr 09:00 the seating area was "closed for cleaning" ..no one cleaning..looked like it wasn't going to be open all day..... as I was getting to the counter the woman seving said .. bacon would be few minutes.. as I wanted bacon said OK but the woman serving seemed not to want to take orders for bacon sandwiches so I waited out of the queue as others were getting other goods ... when the bacon was ready ..about 5 minutes.. one of the people behind the counter came out and gave a man who was waiting before me a sausage and bacon roll....obviously his order had taken ... the woman serving looked up at me an said bacons ready now you will have to join the queue... the queue now was about 8 people .. I left . How disappointing that was .....greggs staff are normally...

Have been calling in regularly most of this year. Coffee is always good. But.... Not sure what's happened or why all the regular staff have gone...they were pleasant, professional, knew their regular customers and always had time for a quick word with them aways a good morning...a thank-you as you left. They were quick and the place was always spotless. That is not the case this last month or so.
