Messed up my order from pork to tofu. And bành mi really lacked any flavour or filling no pattè no pickled salad and mayo covering on some mild hot sauce. There's was a ton of corridandor on the banh and the bread was slightly stale. Sorry guys love a independent cafe and love the community and the staff but the banh mi was shocking. Considering there's 5 absolutely amazing thai spots around headingly one round the corner it's hard to recommend this place , prices around £2-3 cheaper than the competitors but much to be desired. Delicious food very generous portion sizes, one soup could easily fill two people. They were nice enough to leave 95% of the corriander on the side as I guess they know enough people don't like that herb, the rest of the salady bits on the side were nice. Did have to take out a few tiny corriander bits but that's mostly my issue. Pepper slices were super spicy but optional, with enough drink this wouldn't be an issue for me. Sadly I was the only customer there the whole time, so staff were chilling on their phone, but I would do the same if I was allowed and there was no one to serve, so I can't say I blame them. I don't know how all these 5 stars are for this restaurant. Today, we are passing by and decide to have a try some takeaway. Was the tasteless soup we ever eat ( Chief Choice 16 number) was blind water with spring onions in it and fewer peace of tasteless meat in separate box. The another dish was chiken curry 26 which was OK but for curry was very watery and not creamy as it should be, We eat Vietnamese Food in different places in London but this was the tasteless food ever tried.
