Pho 37 Headingley — Restaurant in Leeds

Great perfect and splendid 👌 There is hope for headingley yet this place out of site just tooked away at the end of north street headingley just at side of library and headingley hub i had given in but just at side of the residence cafe where food was diabolical only if I had somebody's mouth in headingley may have enjoyed better only can't afford new teeth as I nearly broken my dentures whilst eating bacon in the residenc s bar and cafe also need to take a loan out from UK government to pay for it astonishing at £14 + another 3 pounds for a tea . Only Pho 37 headingley Vietnamese restaurant was super tasty and left me wanting more only my fat belly too full must go there again it was different and beautiful in a good sence this felt a bit Chinese as well selling many mixture of Asian food although meant to be Vietnamese it sold pak choi a Chinese oriental addition. And Chinese favourite cha sui along side a belly pork absusulutly perfection in that area . Only you have to go find this place tooked in behind next to a tattoo art parla what more can I say salvo best Italian in headingley/ best cafe 21.co headingley centre / Vietnamese perfection on plate so different style but...

Pho was mediocre at best. The experience might be different in the restaurant but not worth ordering as a takeaway. Ordered medium rare beef pho, the beef arrived over cooked. I understand that it likely had cooked during transportation but worth considering other options for delivery or inform customers that they will not be able to get what they are ordering. You have to assemble pho anyway (rice noodles come in a separate container) so might as well have the beef separately, too. The broth lacks flavour. It's not bad but doesn't give a "packed of flavour rich" kick, no spring onions in pho either. But the worst part is, the container is awful. It's too small for the amount of noodles you need to put it in, I put half of the noodles in and it already spilled over some of the broth. And the container is too flimsy so you can't even move it without spilling half of the content. But it did the job as I am currently under the weather and struggling to cook anything healthy and...

After a horrid experience with the tofu bao & veggie dumplings last year (both arrived swimming in sweet chilli sauce to the point that they were almost inedible, and I say that as a fan of sweet chilli sauce) I tried again, but this time stuck to main dishes only.

Satay tofu is delicious, possibly my new favourite take-out dish! Sauce is on the runny side, but so comforting (like sweet, milky peanut butter) and delicious with big chunks of steamed broccoli & carrot.

My son had a pork and rice dish that arrived incredibly well presented with generous slices of pink pork belly. My husband had big plate envy, though his noodle dish was also good.

Quick and easy delivery via Deliveroo; food arrived piping hot and well packaged to prevent runny sauces from leaking. Good-sized portions too :)
