It definitely deserves its top spot as Wetherbys best cafe. I visited with 4 other family members, one of whom was a baby. The staff members seated us quickly and were extremely pleasant and polite.

We ordered a mixture of coffees, hot chocolate and milkshakes along with eggs Benedict, eggs Royale and ham chips and eggs.The food was beyond excellent. We tasted each others and we couldn't fault any of it You can tell they use quality ingredients and cook them with love.The chips were the best I've tasted anywhere including high end restaurants.

We couldn't leave without tasting their jam and cream scones. We weren't disappointed they were scrumptious ( peach Melba ). With plenty of delicious jam and thick clotted cream.

Had researched breakfasts in Wetherby and found this tip of the search results. And for good reason the breakfast was smashing and the service was excellent too. We did notice that when full customers are asked to wait for a table but don’t let that put you off as the turnover is quick enough for you to only have a 5-10 minute wait and that time can be put to good use in deciding between and yummy cooked breakfast or coffee and cake, or both. Incredibly busy and short staffed, hence queue time for a table and further wait for food, but staff all very cheery, jovial and efficient. You don't mind the wait if it's worth it and it was. Dog friendly establishment. Outdoor seating to the front on the pavement. More seating upstairs. Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options available.
