We visited this fine establishment on the 27th of November, we had visited before the Boxing Day floods but not been since the reopening.

For starters we had seekh kebab, fish pakora, vegetable samosas and onion bhaji (with a proverbial gallon of sauce) and all of them were exquisite. For main I had the chicken and spinach garlic, the seasoning was perfectly balanced, just the right amount of spice and the exquisite burst of sweet tangy flavour from the baby garlic cloves were a definite highlight. The rest of my company had chicken tikka masala (very good, one of the best he has ever eaten), lamb and spinach (amazing, very lean lamb and perfectly cooked and tempered for her chosen heat rating) and the paneer with potato and spinach (simply amazing) all accompanied with 1 portion of pilau rice (between 4 was a good sized portion) and a garlic and coriander naan, which again was a good size. Deserts were shared between us, we had a chocolate bomb kind of thing (name escapes me and like an amateur I forgot the picture!) and a half coconut filled with coconut ice cream.

For drinks we had 2 pints of monsoon, 2 pints of cobra and a pint of kingfisher, in total it came to £81.20, which we all thought was astounding value given the quality of the food and the size of...

Amazing food, excellent service and you can tell the restaurant cares about customers!

We initially ordered just a little over a week ago and had had a slight issue with the order. Upon discovering this, I emailed the restaurant with our query and the manager very promptly resolved the issue for us in the form of inviting us to order again, with the second order being on the house, in compensation for our troubles. The manager was very keen to resolve the issue and the customer service we received was phenomenal!

For our order tonight, I emailed the restaurant asking if it's possible to honor the order and the time I would like to collect. The manager was very prompt and polite, confirming our order will be ready for the time stated. It was ready for the exact time requested which was amazing!

The food was beautiful, the meats were really tender and flavourful, the sauces were well spiced and fresh and the sides were piping hot and delicious! I am definitely glad that we were offered this rather than a refund as it has proved to us that the restaurant values their customers greatly.

I would like to say a huge thank you to the manager and to all of their staff for their amazing customer service and...

Shaheesh Mahal in Bradford is a hidden gem for lovers of authentic Pakistani cuisine. The moment you step inside, the ambiance is welcoming and beautifully captures the spirit of Pakistan . The menu is extensive, featuring a wide range of authentic dishes from flavourful biryanis to perfectly spiced curries, and the grilled meats are truly exceptional. I highly recommend their lamb karahi cooked to perfection with rich spices that give it an unforgettable flavour. The naan is soft, fresh, and pairs perfectly with any curry. The service at Shaheesh Mahal is top-notch; staff are friendly, attentive, and eager to make recommendations for new guests. It’s clear they care about creating an enjoyable dining experience for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a family friendly restaurant, a romantic dinner, or a place to celebrate with friends, Shaheesh Mahal offers an ideal setting with reasonable prices. Plus, their commitment to quality and authenticity is evident in every bite.

If you’re in Bradford, Shaheesh Mahal is a must-visit spot for authentic Pakistani food and exceptional service. It’s no wonder this place is quickly becoming one of Bradford’s top-rated restaurants. Highly...

We were on a trip to Arcade Clubs Leeds and at the last minute we decided to have an Indian. After looking around we found Sheesh Mahal looked OK, so we called them and they found space for 8 of us on a Saturday night. Once we arrived the service and staff were fantastic. The food was great and the price was very reasonable!!!! I only wish we had an Indian restaurant as good as this near us. Would 100% recommend!!!!!
