So popped in to cardigan fields after a very long day didn't have energy's to go home after my day . Only yesterday's chicken burger at headingley taps butcher and Michelle's was shocking 16-17 pounds absolutely wasted after sending not 1 but two burgers back had a very similar burger here . Yes I had it all even knowing my normal regular waiter was cooking hats off to Joshua he can cook a good burger . Only he didn't suspect it was for myself no dought only I did say I was there to the other member of staff for a beer to frow him I pretty much stood back watching the staff not at a third of capacity although very busy . As expected looking around great was getting rather busy as people came to dinner had to try his burger it was not very bad to say they was only but 6 or 7 people in headingley taps and they can't get it right ! This seemed not burned very moist although I forget to ask for tomatoes i think very hot days the lovely gentleman on the bar engaged in a little talk as and when not for long before I had to sit down . I made the right choice again something in buget something actually very tasty and also better than that 5ap in headingley so burn there's were and rude thinking I was rude in sending both burgers back headingley tap no more I will take time to come here to enjoy great atmosphere not too many young kids saying I am a manager so you had enough sack that I went in on the off chance that it may be lively only dead in the week and full of students pickling there brains at the only run absolutely 💯 % rubbish no wonder they have the Otley run to keep there bars open only time they take the buisness if only people knew about the rubbish food they served only too hammered on that Otley run to know only good hard working students should be aware they have no morals about you working so hard to by food they just enjoy the money if you feel you are short changed I would suggest coming here ! Flaming grill pub only care for the hard working families that eat here they work hard and eat good food the best steak at the right price only the chicken burgers here have fresh salad as I do look and also didn't get cooked in a microwave to save face the restaurant in headingley taps actually gave me a second burger and to try cover up only second was as bad as the first one . This burger was similar in quality in way that it was bread crumb and unachievable to bread crumb chicken fillets and to the amount that this chain does green king 🤴 💚 . However the chain pays real hard working men and young lady's who out shine most similar establishments whats more the service always second to none in way always cooked to great standards weather it be a steak chicken or simply anything your ordering its absusulutly consistent in every time I visit no fix about the food or the staff the normal cheff not working only they had the real deal again in having a very compatant person manning the chicken as it came nice if I can say this experience was all that great as I had my own company and still happy and welcoming to all families and kids looks like I shall have another drink enjoyment of all who come here music to my taste probably...
Read moreI popped over to Cardigan Fields the other evening and honestly, it was just what I needed — relaxed, lively, and all in one place. I’ve been a few times before, but each visit reminds me why it's such a solid spot for a casual day or night out.
This time, I went for a film at the Vue cinema. It’s a good-sized cinema with comfy seats, and the screens are always clean and sharp. Booking online was easy, and there was barely any queue when I arrived. After the movie, I grabbed a bite at Nando’s — classic, I know, but you can’t go wrong. There are loads of food places to choose from, depending on what you're in the mood for: Five Guys, Pizza Hut, even a dessert stop if you've got a sweet tooth.
What I like most about Cardigan Fields is that everything is right there — cinema, restaurants, bowling, a trampoline park, and even a gym if you're feeling energetic. Parking is usually straightforward, and you get a few hours free which is always a plus in Leeds.
Only downside? It can get a bit busy in the evenings, especially weekends, so it’s worth booking ahead for food or films if you're planning to go at peak times. That said, it always feels safe and well-lit, even later on.
All in all, it’s an easy choice when you want everything in one place without heading into the city centre.
Rating: 4.5/5 Would definitely recommend if you’re after a no-fuss, all-in-one...
Read moreCardigan Fields holds a special place in my heart as I remember when this place first opened when I was 16, back then it was called The Warner Village. It brings back so many sweet memories of coming here every Saturday with my friends to watch a film and play bowling.
Fast forward to today, I am an adult now and I am thrilled to bring my son here to do the same things I enjoyed as a teenager. It's amazing to see how much the place has evolved over the years while still maintaining its fun and lively atmosphere.
The cinema is still just as great as I remember it, with state-of-the-art screens and sound systems, making it a truly immersive experience. The bowling alley has also been revamped with new lanes and updated technology. It's clear that Cardigan Fields is committed to providing a fantastic entertainment experience for all ages.
I appreciate how this place has grown and evolved over the years but still manages to hold onto the same charm and nostalgia from when it first opened. It's a great place to come with friends and family, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable time. Overall, Cardigan Fields is a fantastic entertainment destination that holds a special place in my heart, and I look forward to making new memories here with...
