Costa Coffee - Peacehaven — Restaurant in Lewes

This is my least fancy Costa branch. It was nice and friendly a weeks back which becomes our sunday routine but when they changed their staff it becomes the worst costa. Service is very slow despite there are 3 staffs in the bar, not organize, and so not friendly to customer. Ive been notice too that there is lack of cake display barely nothing at all compare to other Costa branch. There is an intances that when I ordered for Lemon Muffin cake they told me its out of stock, strange happen after a few minutes they’ve serving to other customers and bringing out under the counter. In addition, 3 days after they launch their festive drinks, they are already short with Creams???? Why? Are they not prepared properly for it? Im sure if launch something new drinks they make sure its available. they dont do now proper coffee. Its not to standard i used too for Costa. My partner and I stopped here on our way back home. The Customer Service was outstanding, I have allergies and they went above and beyond to cater to my needs, being Lactose Intolerant and allergic to dairy it’s hard to be able to eat and drink outside of home. The staff in this particular Costa made me feel at ease, by making sure that every item that my soya latte touched was handled by one person only, the temperature gage was wiped clean with a antibacterial wipe and the tray, coffee jug, glass and spoon all through the dishwasher separate from everything else. The table we sat at was wiped clean and my drink came out separate to my partners to make sure there was no cross contamination. All the staff was friendly and considerate but the 2 ladies called Claire and Daisy were amazing and I will definitely be visiting again. I highly recommend you...

My husband drove 20 minutes to get there before closing time today to get me a frappe and was told that they wouldn't make a frappe 18 minutes before closing time. I am really poorly and this something I had looked forward to all day. Ridiculous to refuse to make something you are supposed to offer when you're still open. Yesterday I got there way closer to closing and got a frappe. So, seems different people say different things. Bad enough the girl who made my frappe yesterday was sat on the floor and then got up using her hands on the floor and made the frappe and touched my straw without washing her hands and ignored me when I said thank you and have a good day, but to then say you do not do frappes today at a time you did yesterday.
