Review for Firehouse Pizza and Grill

As a long-time customer of Firehouse Pizza and Grill, it deeply pains me to write this review. Unfortunately, the decline in the quality and service of this establishment has reached an unbearable point, and after my experience last night, I can no longer recommend it.
For years, I have relied on Firehouse for delicious takeaway meals, but recently, my orders have been consistently disappointing. Last night was the final straw. Not only did my food arrive late, but it was also incorrect, not once, but twice. This level of repeated errors and lack of attention to detail is frustrating and unacceptable.
What shocked me even more was the attitude displayed by the owner. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistakes, the owner was rude, deluded, and claimed to be the number one takeaway in Sussex. This arrogance and disrespect towards customers is disheartening and completely uncalled for.
Moreover, the portion sizes have noticeably decreased over time. In addition to the declining quality, the quantity of food being served is now noticeably less. This further contributes to the overall dissatisfaction with Firehouse Pizza and Grill.
The owner's rude and threatening behavior is absolutely intolerable. As customers, we deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, and it is clear that this principle is not upheld at Firehouse.
Considering all these issues, I strongly advise against choosing Firehouse Pizza and Grill for your takeaway needs. The declining quality, repeated mistakes, reduced portion sizes, and the disrespectful attitude exhibited by the owner make this establishment an unappealing choice. It's time to explore alternative options that prioritize customer satisfaction and deliver a superior...

At 16:42 on a Friday we ordered a single medium cheese pizza to be delivered ASAP - it arrived at 17:44
This place is notorious for long wait times, so this was expected. Fine. What we weren’t expecting was for our pizza to arrive totally disfigured! See photo 1 - it seems whoever was slicing it accidentally pushed the pizza all into the corner of the box, happy (or ignorant) or their work, then gave it their approval to be sent out.
Once we got the pizza dropped off and saw the disaster, we called to rectify the issue but were immediately given a standoffish hostile response, telling us we were wrong and they didn't believe us…!?
After some arguing we agreed to getting a new one delivered, but they would be asking for the already delivered pizza back.
Well guess what? The new pizza they delivered to replace the mess they sent us the first time did NOT match our original order (no stuffed crust - see photo 2). What's worse is that the delivery driver was also argumentative when asking for the original mutilated pizza back, wasting our time on our front door step attempting to pull the cold doughy carcass apart, telling us that it was perfectly fine and we could have fixed it ourselves.
For the Dominos prices they ask for, you'd think they'd be a little more considerate of customers that have never gotten in touch about issues with an order before...
This one bad experience has completely spoiled any chance of us...

Ordered for takeout at just past 8pm, was told that the food would be with me at the latest of 9:05pm, okay reasonable. 9:20, gave them a call because I had no word and was told “it’s on it’s way” and got hung up on. Called again half an hour later, now 9:50, and was told “it’s on its way” and was hung up on. Tried again at 10:05 and was told “I’ll try and call the driver, hold the line” and they hung up again! Gave them 10 mins to call me back and nothing.. so I tried for a 4th time and after 5 mins of them ignoring my questions and having multiple staff muttering to eachother, they tell me they will call the driver, this time I was put on hold. The food finally showed up just before 10:30, carried up to the wrong door, by a guy stumbling on his feet with bright red eyes looking absolutely off his face. I was still on hold with the store at this point and once they finally picked the phone back up, I asked why it was so late and explained the state of the driver (in a car by the way) the staff just laughed and said “next time you order, call me and I’ll put something free in for you darling”, not an ounce of acknowledgement. Not even nearly worth the wait with practically cold and dripping in grease food eventually showing up. If I could give 0* I would have. Avoid if you actually want to eat the day that...
