Embarrassing experience to be honest. My partner and I come for a meal after being disappointed with other places we'd tried and the food looked great looking on Facebook and Google. We waited behind 2 ladies who wished to be seated and told no seats would be available for around an hour and a half. I'd overheard but decided to ask and maybe book and come back. We got told we could sit outside for food... not ideal but we expected to be seated near some sort of heat source seeing as they have plenty of patio heaters. Nope we got seated furthest from the pub and not one attempt made to ask if we'd like the heater on as it was cold. We got told to scan the QR code on this plastic thing with a table number on and that way we can order food and drinks. Very confusing to say the least! After messing about for 15 minutes and looking like everything was sold out we decided to seek assistance and was told to look further down on the menu to see the 50% off on Monday to Wednesday... finally we manage to source the food menu! Now drinks... scan another QR code to access the drinks. What a carry on this turned out to be. I gave up trying and ordered 2 pepsi as it was simpler and we were getting hungry and wanted food ASAP. My partner went inside to use the toilets and a group of 3 people arrive and ask if they have a table to sit for food and drinks... guess what?? By some miracle a table is free! Not surprising as the place was barely half full. We were served our drinks and asked the staff if there was a table free as we'd been told we had to sit outside to eat yet 3 people have arrived after us who hadn't booked and had been given a table... we got told they'd go see if they could find us a table and 5 minutes later the staff member comes back to seat us on the very table we passed that was free when we come in and went out the back! OK we're inside and warm great food arrives and the burger was ok fries however were cold! At this point I couldn't be bothered to say anything but decided to try order an alcoholic drink... another QR code needs scanned and after about 10 minutes messing about i get it to work. We order 2 cocktails and wait... and wait... and wait some more. I asked the gentleman serving tables if we could have our table cleared after all the plates had been there long after we'd finished our meals to which he obliged happily and we asked about our drinks and he stated they are a bit rushed off their feet as it was so busy!! Again the place was barley half full. Drinks arrive and we finally got asked if we'd like our desert now which to be honest we had almost forgot about we had been there so long. If its like that when its quiet I'd hate to come when its busy. Not for me and won't be...

Disappointing bottomless brunch... we ordered the brunch, which is served from 12 until 4.

We were looking forward to a bottomless brunch. The bar has a nice and varied selection of cocktails. You can order a basic bottomless which gets you basic cocktails and some food and an upgraded which gets you more of a selection but not all the options.

At 2pm we were asked to make a last drinks order, as we were then informed the bottomless only lasts an hour and a half, which is not mentioned anywhere beforehand (we double checked every menu and leaflet on the table to check we hadn't missed it). The service was difficult to order drinks - even when we went to the bar, we were told to go back to our tables and wait for someone who took a while to come. The glasses after our first round were about half the size of the first round. We ended up paying far too much (£40ea) for about 3 drinks.

In addition, the toilets had no soap which wasn't ideal.

Food was decent quality and seating/tables nice and roomy.

Overall would've been good if there was better communication of the short time limit or even better no time...

Horrible service and lack of organization. We booked the swing set table on the patio for my boyfriends birthday. We arrived on time to find strangers sitting at our assigned table smoking, despite a sign saying it was reserved. It took me 10 minutes to be able to get the attention of any workers so they could remove the people and wipe the table down. Then we waited another 20 mins at the bar waiting to order our dinner and drinks to be told they weren't serving food that day. The whole point of our reservation was to have a birthday dinner. We got no compensation for this. A manager should have called and informed us of this the second they knew. I would never got back here again. Even when we were seated at our assigned table, drunk people kept coming up and trying to sit with us and we had to tell them it was reserved and to go away. Also others would come stand on the platform the swing set is on and smoke. Im appalled by the lack of professionalism and organization at this establishment. We left and had dinner at wildwood across the street, much better bang...
