Review of Little Korea, Lincoln, England

We recently visited Little Korea in Lincoln and had a generally enjoyable experience. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a nice place to dine. The staff were friendly, and the restaurant itself is charming with its cozy decor.

However, there was a challenge during our visit. The waiter had a limited command of English, which made communication a bit difficult, especially when we needed more specific help with the menu. One of our group members has celiac disease, and we found it quite challenging to get clear information about which dishes contained gluten and which were safe to eat. This made selecting the right meal a bit stressful and time-consuming.

While the overall dining experience was good, I’d recommend the restaurant improve in this area, perhaps by offering clearer menu options or ensuring the staff is better equipped to assist with dietary restrictions. That said, the food and ambiance were still worth the visit, and I would consider returning, hopefully with more confidence about...

I was really excited to try Korean food for the first time, especially after watching so many mukbang videos online. I ordered Tteokbokki, but it was extremely disappointing. There were no fish cakes, no cheese, and no ramen just a few rice cakes in a red sauce. The portion was very small, and the taste was completely off not spicy at all, not even a little heat. It felt like I was just eating plain rice cakes in a sweet tomato sauce. Definitely not what Tteokbokki is supposed to be. I also ordered the spicy chicken, but again, it was not spicy it was overly sweet, almost like they poured honey on it. There was nothing Korean about the flavour only the appearance looked Korean, but the taste was completely wrong. For the price they charged, this was a total waste of money. I felt very disappointed and honestly, a bit cheated. The only good thing was the ambience the restaurant looks nice. But if you’re going there expecting authentic Korean flavours, this is not the place.Zero stars from me. I hope they take customer feedback seriously and improve their recipes to match the real...

We were visiting Lincoln and having an overnight stay. Found this restaurant on Google maps as it was near where we are staying and it was fantastic. We had a table for two booked and we were seated right away. It was busy when we arrived but we were given our menus straight away and we chose the sharing platter of beef, pork and chicken. The food was excellent and so tasty. I really enjoyed the Kimchi both the cabbage and the cucumber versions were delicious. The service was fantastic and and we didn't wait long for any of the food or drinks. Plus the staff were really helpful telling us what we needed to do and how to eat the meat in the lettuce leaves.

I also tried some Soju - which was delicious, but strong. I ordered a second bottle which I ended up sharing with my husband :-) . I think there was a delayed reaction to the alcohol working it's way through my body. Such a lovely restaurant, great service and very tasty food, we left very happy and it rounded off our day in Lincoln...
