It was my first time to visit the place, the food so tasty and delicious and big portions compared to other Turkish restaurants in Liverpool deserve every penny they asked for 👌 high recommended,, The service was excellent, the staff were great and very lovely friendly and helpful, The start’s so delicious and the main food super tasty ,, , booked a table for 13people and all the food been served in the same time 👌👌. The only thing I would say it’s the car park as you had to park between the houses and took me around 15min just to find a place 🫣🫣 but other than this highly recommended xx

We were on our way from Mossley Hill station to the nearest pub but never quite made it. We could smell kebabs whilst walking along the pavement and it drew us into this restaurant. We had a look at the menu and spotted the chef's special for two. Thought we would try it out and so we ordered it. It was a magnificent mountain of meat and rice and chips (see photo). We had a good go at it for nearly an hour and still couldn't eat it all. Filled me up for the rest of the day. Excellent value for money.

Thoroughly enjoyed dropping into this little gem and savouring its authentic Turkish fare on a Saturday afternoon. Well worth the trip out to Mossley Hill. Such amazing friendly service and superb selection. Particularly impressed with the Turkish Cabernet Sauvignon and almond liquor coffee. 🤤

We ordered Chef's Special for 2 to be delivered to us. When food is delivered, you don't expect it to be as good as dining-in, in particular, if it is kebab. But, it was so good that encouraged me to write this review while the plates are still on the table. Also, The portion was fair for the price. I am sure we soon give a visit to the restaurant to enjoy the food when it has just left the chef's kitchen. I took one star off since the rice wasn't as satisfactory as the rest of the food. But please notice that, in our house, we cook rice nearly everyday, so we have grown our own taste for rice. Gustum has to be the best Turkish restaurant in Liverpool I have visited. The food is consistently good, very tasty, plentiful and looks appealing. The staff are great, welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We have eaten there over a 2 year period and have never been unhappy with a meal. Lunch is great value and so is their early doors menu. The restaurant and toilet always looks immaculate and you can watch the food being cooked so can see for yourself how clean the kitchen is. Decided to go out out to eat on a Monday tea time for a change of scene and because I was off work and so glad we went to Gustum on Rose Lane. They provide tasty Turkish fayre with beautiful bread and a friendly welcome. I chose 2 starters prawns in chilli oil and calamari with a little side salad and tasty dip. My partner had the halloumi starter and kofta kebab with rice. The food was fresh and steaming hot when it arrived with a basket of wonderful Turkish bread to clean up the beautiful flavours on our plates. I totally enjoyed the whole experience washed down with a crisp glass of white, it turned a mundane Monday into a Must do again...
