RLC is my favourite local coffee shop. Delicious coffee, warm furnishings, lovely staff and genuine community.

They have a great selection of drinks, cakes and bakes, but the specialty coffee is where they shine for me. Smooth and not bitter at all, with a lovely flavour - in the immediate area, there’s no one doing specialty coffee like them.

The inside is small but cosy with just enough seating areas for a busy day. Walls are adorned with art from local artists, and the atmosphere inside feels welcoming and relaxed.

On a busy day, you can really feel a sense of togetherness. RLC have been open for the past few Christmas mornings and it is certainly a favourite spot among us locals. Chatting with excited strangers in the queues, sharing little tables and huddling around hot drinks is an experience like no other. It’s a testament to the great community they’ve built.

All in all: an absolute must-try spot for anyone...

We stopped in to this lovely little cafe for a drink and a snack while visiting from New York. We were absolutely blown away by the cappuccino, cakes, and pastries, which were all simply incredible, exactly what we were looking for.

And the service was incredible — the staff even gave us recommendations for where else to eat in the city! The outdoor and indoor seating was both comfy and idyllic, thanks to the amazing location on Rose Lane.
