Enjoyed a leisurely walk around the lake watching the ducks & birds. Studied some of the trees and what's happened to them over time. Walked around the peaceful gardens, admiring the beautiful shrubs, flower beds and watching the bees gathering pollen. Spent some time in the play area with our grandchildren, they of course enjoyed that. We then sat on the benches and had ice cream. It was a lovely sunny day too which added to the pleasure of it all.

Excellent little park and fishing pond. We found that there were very friendly, open people in the park. The experience as I waited for a hospital appointment was truly cathartic. The Caffè its staff and offerings are beyond words. If you haven't found this little gem yet, you have something to look forward to. The picture I have posted with this review sort of speaks volumes....

The park is very nice but it could be kept a little bit more maintained. In some areas the park has a lot of litter, that could all be prevented as there are very accessible bin. The geese, ducks and squirrels and very friendly. I go there very often and it's a good small park.🦢

I bring my partners kids here as an excuse to have a go on the swings and to rag it around on the roundabout.

Sure, I'm 36. But swings are ace. I hope one day to go right over the top so I can put a photo of it on my Tinder bio and get pyar birds.

I'm dead good on the jungle gym now. Sure, my feet touch the ground when I'm on it but I think that 8 year old was jealous when I got across faster than him. In your face Timmy.

It's actually a well maintained play area. Not massive, but adjacent to the fantastic cafe and the rest of the park is lovely. Helps burn some of the energy off when I pick the kids...

This is one of the smaller parks in Liverpool and very close to Penny Lane and Spire Hospital it houses a beautiful Marie Curie garden that is so peaceful. It also provides a swing park for children, with a lovely view of the lake which attracts various species of ducks etc.. especially the Canada Geese and beautiful Swans. This past week a new cafe/ bistro has opened called The Watering Can which caters for all varieties of food / drinks, well behaved dogs are also welcome here, it's still a work in progress but a little jewel in a...

One of the sweetest little parks I've ever been to,been taking my grandkids since they were tiny.It had everything a much larger park has in a nice compact area.Grassy banks for picnics and frisbee playing, pretty lake with lots of ducks, swans and resident heron.A lovely quiet walled garden, and access to a large playing field where you can play football or give the dog a good run.The only drawback is the lack of public toilets which can completely spoil an outing and cut short what could be a much...
