Disappointed with the expensive but lacklustre offering at the Toby, we nipped round the corner and found Jo's. Unpretentious , this is a spotlessly clean homely cafe with the friendliest people to greet you. (It IS Liverpool after all ) We had a simple breakfast of eggs on toast (perfectly done) and a toasted sausage sandwich. Decent sausages, good thick toast and prepared just as I like it. Their breakfast menu is extensive and a full English won't require blood donation to pay for it ! Worth every penny for the delicious food and the warmth of the welcome. Highly recommended we will most definitely be breakfasting there next...

Stopped here for breakfasts. The service was amazing!! The guy was very chatty and welcoming. You can tell he really cares for his customers. I got a full breakfast and my wife got a sausage and egg roll. I asked for scrambled egg and she said this wouldnโ€™t be a problem but she gave me fried egg. The breakfast itself was ok. Mushrooms I wouldโ€™ve liked cooked longer and they were a bit chewy. Everything else was fine. My wife...
