The Country Kitchen Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Liverpool

We were recommended to use Sheila at The Country Kitchen Sandwich Shop by a friend for catering at an upcoming funeral involving 80 + family and friends. We met with Sheila a week before and were immediately impressed. She was patient and caring to all our needs. We asked for nut and egg free, gluten free, vegan and vegetarian food as well as the usual fare. This was no problem to Sheila, in fact she gave us useful suggestions. On the day of the funeral, Sheila was there in person with an associate to serve the food, which everyone commented on as being very well presented. We had scouse as well as gluten free and vegan scouse, which was delicious, and a huge variety of fresh sandwiches, all clearly marked as to GF or not. There was also food to cater for children - nuggets, small sausages and crisps. Sheila's attention to detail as well as a high level of hygiene was particularly noted. All comments from all guests could not have been more complimentary. The thanks of all our family go to Sheila and I would have no hesitation in strongly recommending her...

Fabulous range of freshly prepared sandwiches, wraps, pastries, cakes and an exceptional chicken curry with rice. Stopped by for a quick break during work hours. This small café gives a welcoming and cosy vibe. There aren’t many seats inside, but it wasn’t crowded when I visited.
