Been ordering from here for years and never had a problem the food has been lovely but today the food was absolutely foul, the salt and pepper chicken could’ve snapped my teeth it was absolutely ROCK hard. The chicken in the fried rice was crispy like it had been left out n started going solid, the rice was like it was raw it was that undercooked. The chips were anemic they were that pale and still had the hard texture of a raw potato!! Spring rolls were burnt, noodles were shocking. Contacted food hub to ask for a refund they contacted the shop and the cheek of them to only offer me a partial refund of £16!!! Not even half of what I spent when we couldn’t eat any of it 🤢 No idea what’s happened today but the food was absolutely RANK!! Will never ever order from here again....

UPDATE June 2024 - We have used this chippy a few times since the review below and its is much improved. Hence a 5 star review now. Meats in the meals is higher quantity and the meals themselves are cooked very well indeed. The prawn toast was so good! +++++

The food is well cooked BUT it's the quanitity of meat in meals that is poor. Chicken Foo Yung had five small pieces of Chicken! (Foo Yong itself was lovely). The chips with meal was so small a portion it was shocking. Other meal Chicken in Honey sauce with fried rice had very few pieces of chicken and had excessive onion in it. Tasted lovely by the way. But when you order Chicken meals you expect a fair amount of Chicken!! (and chips). Very...

Dreadful take away! I ordered 'beef with mushroom in blackbean sauce' ..so no green pepper, and i also requested no onions. When i got home two miles away...i found that they had give me 'beef green pepper and no mushrooms. The dish was packed mainly with green peppers and carrots. Furthermore, the chips that came with it were frozen...definately not fresh. tasted awful.

So, too late and angry to pop back... i phoned them up and told them. They do delivery but said i'd have to GO BACK to them to rectify.... No way!! Many other Take Aways near there...i recommend...
